Damizean
Some tiles of Pristine Palisade are made from scratch, though
Zenor
the Ground is all I can tell that's from scratch I guess.
Rael0505
Isn't the ground a mix of Aqua Lake and Tidal Tempest?

Ryan Cordel
Custom is when you do something using pieces form another thing(editing for example). From scratch is when you start from nothing. example:Custom= Pristine Palisade Scratch= Streak's AIZact2 background What the fuck? Since when was 'Custom' defined as that? Steven M
I've been at this for a while now. Now does anyone else look at those pictures and think "Sonic Epoch"?
Spike
Ironrind, I'm going to be honest with you. The level art is amazing and fits your Satam (I think?) style perfectly, but the character art and sprites are just... not that great. Most of the time they don't even resemble Sonic characters. They vary in height and size like crazy, too.
Zenor
What the fuck? Since when was 'Custom' defined as that? Custom is when you get something and transform it turning it different.
Ryan Cordel
We have a better word for that. Major edit/total conversion. And hell, if Custom is defined like that, let's say a sprite 'made by scratch' is made from a literal specifically shaped DENT or such wound. I mean, god. Slingerland
Let's just let zenor's "custom/from scratch" comment go, guys. That's just what he particularly calls the two processes.
Sockman
Now does anyone else look at those pictures and think "Sonic Epoch"? Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of "Aw, hell. Looks like Edgar Allen Poe has gotten into fangaming..." Very creative though, I wonder how it plays.
Aikocho
Let's just let zenor's "custom/from scratch" comment go, guys. That's just what he particularly calls the two processes. Yeah, just let it go. Besides, I should be able to get more screen shots up by the end of the week or so. The topic is realy about screenshots after all. I don't want my earlyer statement to start any flamewars or somthing irelevent.
MrKsoft
I seriously doubt people still think I work on this.

Looks good, but it's hard to tell that's supposed to be a SA style sonic. Maybe try filling in the eye completely green?
MrKsoft
I'm not intending for it to be any particular style Sonic. Just a Sonic. Although the running is SA-like. It had a decent sprite set, so I used it.

Ironrind
Mr. Ksoft, Background reminds me of Streets of Rage...and the style looks different as a game, that's always plus in my book.. Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of "Aw, hell. Looks like Edgar Allen Poe has gotten into fangaming..."Very creative though, I wonder how it plays. Haha, Ay, I'm going to post it soon...that way you guys can really get a better feel for it..But I'm adding some new shit before I post it...probably by next week or so.. Godmaster
I love these gfx, specially the characters, they're big, more detailed and have unique style. Nerdy question: what language are you using to make this game?

Eventually I'll get arround to shading the characters and some of the tiles..I still haven't polished everything up to the max..I'll most likely do that last..And I'm using game maker 7.
jumpbutton
From my fanciful new Sonic game. I'm more proud of this than any other screenshot I've ever posted for anything. I don't have enough done on the game to show much more than this though.
Spike
It looks pretty good, jumpbutton. The springs are stuck deep into the wall, though, and the platform he is on isn't connected to the wall.
jumpbutton
The springs suck and shall be adjusted. The platform he's on is a falling one. I took the screen while falling.
