Okay so now you're a little more up to speed on what the FUCK this is so here's a video of my friend Taronuke (you may know him actually, he creates some relatively popular flash games, and generally isn't afraid of anything) playing the game in a REALLY BROKEN STATE in what appears to be HYPER LOW-DEFINITION 240x120 RESOLUTION (seriously what) VIDEO: here's some more shit: EXTRA INFO Just a heads up, all this stuff is like the oldest possible shit I could post, but I don't have the game files on this laptop so I had to copy paste. I'll be bringing more up-to-date screens later. Basically, this is all from when I was testing the game's waters and honestly the screens are from before the first level was even finished. Now I have like 8 odd levels, some bosses, shit's goin pretty good The graphics other than Crash are all placeholders. Crash sprite looks like dick in screens, much better in motion, but probably not in Taronuke's video up there thanks to the resolution, but if anyone were to want to record some video of it I'd be happy to send an EXE over to whoever the hell I think it's pretty neat, but its got some problems and I likely won't finish it you know though, I just like to post here you guys are all right

I logged in specifically to praise this, but got sidetracked in general discussion. Basically, it was a good game. I'm a big fan of cinematic events and shit like what goes on in EHF, but don't have the patience to sit down and code them myself. If I had more skill and the aforementioned patience, I'd take you up on that "someone else could do it." But I don't so I can't and so I won't. But I'll keep an eye on it, as I assume everyone else will as well.

I don't have any real complaints about how that looks but this seam on the dam (?) in the background tricked my eye into thinking it was two separate shots.

While the physics issue is probably one of the deadest horses to ever suffer a beating, I recorded this, and I'm posting it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfQFTTeHybA I find the game, from the demo at least, to be decent fun but there's a lot wrong with it. Mostly the fact that half the time the jump/spin/homing attack buttons tend to do one of their other functions in the middle of another function - i.e. suddenly jump and air dash while trying to spin dash. Also, they make absolutely no effort to hide the graphics layers. Sonic clips in and out of loops all over the place. The actual level art seems to be awkwardly placed over itself in places, and break-away ground pieces' animation makes it look like it pops out of existence and then back into existence before it actually breaks. It's okay.

I'm logging in to say that I feel that that company lost it's credibility with me when it appointed a man named Sandy to its CEO position. Also, make your own damn logo. When you leave it up to fans, the other fans will bitch when the one fan's stupid shitty artwork (and judging by my thread history here, I KNOW stupid shitty artwork) is chosen over their stupid shitty artwork, or when the logo changes at all.

I'd make it a shmup where Eggman just starts shooting the hell out of everything, and flies around the world bombing things and shootin' stuff, and then like Tails and Sonic would fly up on the tornado and try to kick his ass, but Eggman is prepared, and he collects an upgrade that spontaneously materializes out of thin air, and kicks the shit out of them, and then they explode, but holy shit, GUN comes up and they're in this giant mech, with smaller mechs around it, and there's missiles flying every fucking where and then Eggman beats it but then holy shit (again) it's Knuckles gliding around punching him in the ass, and then Eggman blows up the capitol building with a death beam and wins the world. Holy shit. Or it could make some sense. Either way.
