  1. Add around 10 pixels of grass shadow under the foreground grass.
  2. The post-Nexus world is pretty dope.
  3. Dino. It's a jungle. The wicked wild.
  4. I just wanted to pop in and say that the opening post is great and whoever wrote it should feel great. Anybody who disagrees is not great.
  5. If you play Wacky Workbench the way it's supposed to be played, it's, like, the easiest stage.
  6. I thought this topic was going to be about working too much and still enjoying games, because my current deal is that I'm really tired when I get home. I don't want to play anything. I just catch up on my DVR. I haven't gotten anywhere in Skyward Sword. Shit takes too much effort after a 12-hour day. I have no desire to play it and that's sad, given my gaming history.
  7. Ah, yeah, a classic combo. I used these buildings in tandem back in '06 and then I changed them out for something else. The SCD Special Stage buildings were just too detailed compared to the rest of it. But, if you change the colors of them, it might work better.
  8. What the fuck game are you playing? This remake supports widescreen.
  9. I could stare at Planet Wisp all damn day.
  10. Yeah, I have. He's trying to make a comeback as a superhero and I was hired for the production sound. I'll probably get to supervise the post, too.
  11. The logo request thread was destroyed because people wanted a logo before they had any content. They would get an idea for a game and immediately want a logo. Who wants to make a logo for a game that doesn't exist? Not me.
  12. From my post at Sonic Retro/Sonic Stadium: From SOA, the details of the event: If you want tickets, register at SEGA or drop me a line.
  13. Speculation about what we're doing gets sillier by the day. It's not an extra zone. You start in The Doomsday. Got it? Good.
  14. Guess I might as well post these here since the news is out. And a novelty zone...
  15. Pause. None of the admins at Retro knew this shit was going to happen. The S2HD team has been super secretive and withholding all information from the Retro administration, while simultaneously using the site for promotion and hosting. If any of us knew that shit was going to happen, it wouldn't have happened because what the team pulled was enormously shitty. How can you not tell anybody what's going on and mooch off their resources? What I'm trying to say is that this botched hype campaign should not be reflected upon the administrators of Retro. It's the S2HD team's fault and theirs alone. Sonic 2 HD: Replicates Sonic 2 and Sonic 4 PR! All in one magical project!
  16. Do your parents know that you're using the Internet?
  17. I still only got a Wii. Now that Nintendo regularly adds demos of great games to the WiiWare service, I've been dropping money like crazy on games like "Cave Story" (not shitting you, I've never played it before), "Jett Rocket," "ThruSpace," "Fluidity," "Bit.Trip Runner/Fate." The service is just brimming with top notch titles lately and I'm glad Nintendo is allowing people to try them out. I was afraid to drop cash on indie games until now. "Cave Story," as you know, is fucking fantastic, but other than that, I'm the most impressed with "Jett Rocket." It's a fun little platformer with beautiful graphics. I have no idea how they managed to fit that onto the WiiWare service. Check out the demo to see what I'm talking about. Also, a gatdamn dolphin in a helmet is your guide. The retail releases haven't been slouching either. We all know about Colors, but I can't get enough of DKC:Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn and Mario Galaxy 2. I'm so happy that I'm playing my Wii for things besides the homebrew channel again. My retro gaming needs are being satiated by the slew of releases this year and I really think Nintendo did a bang-up job during the second half of this year. It's weird, but because of motion-gaming and how stupid it has revealed itself to be, I've been craving simple, yet deep, experiences where I can just sit there with my Wii remote sideways and chill. This year, I've gotten all of that.
  18. Two straight years of making your own birthday thread and complaining about it. That's how you win people over. Definitely.
  19. Today's the big community feedback thing at SEGA of America and I will be there. Follow the action on my Twitter and on The Sonic Stadium. I will have video and photos shortly afterwards.
