  1. I swear, that simplistic shading effect (the one on the diamonds) is just my favourite style ever. Like, really.
  2. You can't fool me. Even though… perhaps I maybe should take a look...
  3. Ah, I remember this thing as an engine demo. Great to see it come to something, that's for sure.
  4. Well, it was only a few taps on the keyboard, so no biggie. Personally, I'd prefer classic rotation anyway.
  5. It really depends on what you're using for the rest of the game.
  6. @Kessler12 Damn, your squares really turn me on. And so do your menus. (not to mention that sexy logo)
  7. I remember the days when Sonic Nexus existed... Good times.
  8. Well, that screenie begs to differ. Your sprite(s) look very good indeed.
  9. And another gripe I have to note: There's no shading around the circumference of the loop, which makes it look flat. If nothing else, try to make it seem less like a paper cutout. Here's the kind of thing I mean. But that's a much smaller complaint. Your best bet is to work overall on the shading.
  10. Yeah, if I'm honest, the foreground tiles are flat and untextured. Take a look at something - for a random example, Emerald Hill Zone. Look at the way the tiles have been textured and shaded: And then look at the way the ones you have are: It does look rather more flat. And then look at the shading on your Metal Sonic sprites and it becomes apparent that they're more detailed. There we are, I think. Then again, I may just be speaking bollocks.
  11. Well, I can feel the effort you've put into it. I just have to wait a few days so I'm less completely broke and can afford to buy it without going hungry
  12. (I'm writing this while bobbing up and down to Up and Dawn.) Listening to some different tracks, I rather like this stuff. I'll be happy to throw a pre-order your way some time soon. Oh, and Perennial Plant sounds bloody fantastic.
  13. Well, then, I'm certainly excited about this project. I love how it looks like the Genesis games with an extra 50% of pizzazz.
  14. I'm perturbed by the cutoff on the edge of the platforms.
  15. I'm sorting it now. --- Woah! That is fab! Loving the textures, particularly on the word "ADVANCED".
