Cyber Rat
Heh, I was actually referring to this water level. Ahh... a WATER level. For moment I thought you meant underwater level. I freaking hate underwater levels in absolutely any game. Hmm... 'ppz'? What zone would that be?
Slingerland
Hmm... 'ppz'? What zone would that be? You can play acts 1 & 3 of PPZ in the SAGE 2007 demo on the site. Back when we were in Sonic Worlds, MMF2, and all that bullshit.
Minon
That'd be Pristine Palisade Zone, right? Edit: Blarg, well darn, I hate it when someone answers a few seconds before...
Serephim
The nexus water level was neat, aside from those fucking invincible star enemies and sonic having no insta-shield. Oh and the zero savepoint part too. Aside from that, i hate all aquatic sonic levels, unless of course im taking a dive. In Aquatic Mine. *plays song* *does a smooth dance* ECHIDONNAAAA dats what i representin
ssbfalcon
*facepalms hard* PPZ Should play really nice under the Retro Engine...
Neo Hazard
I remember the boss to Pristine Palisade and how awesome it was. Will it be redone with the new engine and such?
RGX
I remember the boss to Pristine Palisade and how awesome it was. Will it be redone with the new engine and such? As far as I know, every past level/boss in the previous demos (I think except Nexmas) will reappear in future builds with some tweaks here and there. Mobiethian
I am so into this game and it excites me everytime I play the demo. You guys are good!
Asuma
Question. Do you ever say anything meaningful? Just wondering. Also, Nexus website update, go read it and frequently visit it, etc. I'm just one of those people who says what on their mines. tentril
Couldn't you say more of whats on your mind? I mean, "Water levels are interesting" is not saying anything really. Thats an easy way to not say whether you like or dislike them. That said, I almost liked Pristine Palisade. Honestly, I can't stand water levels, but it was better than most. Water levels need more parts where you can run over the water.
LarkSS
Water levels need more parts where you can run over the water. Water levels need more parts where you can avoid the water all together.

Asuma
Pristine Palisade. I liked that level. It was hard for me. Well, mostly that part where you had to jump on a series of moving platforms. I think it's little after the part where you get to ride in a bubble. I found that gimmick to a lot of fun. It felt like Sonic CD's water level (The name escapes me. Tidal something).
LarkSS
@Azu: Tidal Tempest? Also, I don't remember my experience with it; it ran too slow in MMF2 for me to find any enjoyment. =/

Aaron C-T
Really? Am I the only one who has fond memories of underwater oldschool levels? Aquatic Ruins/Hyrdocity. <3 Not a huge fan of the water level in the 3D games, though. Swimming for treasure. :x

OverbounD
I don't get the third one? Or is it just me and I'm slow...? I have to agree Azu try a bit harder man, or don't post there's nothing saying you have to post all the time. Spend more time reading less time posting. Aaron C-T
It's from Finding Nemo, if I'm not mistaken. They all run around during a scene going "mine, mine mine mine." Lawl. Pigeons. I don't want none, a pigeon is a girl that can't get no love from me.
TRD
Really? Am I the only one who has fond memories of underwater oldschool levels? Aquatic Ruins/Hyrdocity. <3 Labyrinth Zone. One of my favorite stages in Sonic 1 aside from Starlight. Water levels in 2D Sonic were always my favorite.
