  1. "Why Are You Still a Sonic Fan?" I don't know any better and old habits die hard.
  2. This game is strange, and there's not much like it on the Genesis. There are a lot of fishing games out there, but this one mixes in some RPG elements that really effect the game and the size of fish you can catch. I've got a whole video about how it, actually. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but check it out if you want something different.
  3. Keep on plugging and keep on bumping this topic!
  4. I missed posting last month's Neo Reviews, but ah well!
  5. Valkyria Chronicles just got a re-release on Steam that has sold better than expectations in the last 24 hours or so. Just, you know, sayin'. But yeah, this game sucks. At best, it's a crazy boring platformer from the PS2 era, at worst, it's the best glitch fest since Sonic 06.

  7. xpost from Retro: My roommate brought home a copy from his work. We played 20 minutes of coop. Thought it was pretty bad and was noticing some small stuff, but then I clipped through the world twice, almost in succession and died. GOTY, can't stop laughing.
  8. The demo for the second game is out. I'm waiting to play it until Saturday when I'm with my friends. The little I've seen, it's way more terrfiying.
  9. Demo's out for Shattered Crystals now, in case you didn't know. It's boring and completely average. I can't really call it bad, but it's also not something I'd pay money for.
  10. Not sure if you're aware, but there's still random problems when running this game (at least for me, anyway.) The first time, it ran just fine and I figured I'd give it a real playthrough later. If you recall at SAGE Act 1 earlier this year, a few people, including myself, had slowdowns that made the game unplayable. Same issue here, unfortunately. I can't say I know a way to fix it, but I hope you can. If not, well that sucks, but hopefully it doesn't effect more than just the small percentage of people like me.
  11. Seems a little soon to be making a second one, don't ya think? I mean, I understand capitalizing on hype and everything, but the first hasn't even been out a full six months. ...that being said, I never pass up on a chance to plug myself here. :V
  12. ^Agreed, though I doubt I'll ever buy it in any capacity. Lost World burned me something fierce, though I do standby that if you quit after the third world, you have a decent game. Not good, but decent. Besides the fact that I'm expecting it to suck and have no reason to think otherwise, there's a lot coming out this fall. Both versions of Sm4sh alone is reason enough for me to skip this, but there's also games I'll wanna grab during a Steam sale, like Dead Rising 3 and Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. Can't really justify "because sanic" in the budget anymore (especially with actual expenses.) :V
  13. I can only hope this game is a total upset to my expectations, because so far, everything I've seen has made me completely uninterested. Truthfully, I think it looks pretty bad, which is bad, considering presentation (as far as trailers go) tend to be SEGA's strong point, even if the final product is garbage (Lost World comes to mind...)
  14. That's good! Hopefully it fixes the local multiplayer too. That's what I was referring to in that post but I would assume it does.
  15. Oh yeah! So I got the demo code a while back. It's a load of fun and it's way better than Brawl could ever hope to be. I'm quite worried about multiplayer though. From what I've played, matches range from flawless to choppy and irritating. There's zero input lag, but the game will freeze and resync whenever there's the slightest issue. The rate at which it occured was about the same with three people playing as there were four. I hope that the final version is a bit more stable but it's cause for concern. Also, to those who think people are lying about breaking their Circle Pads... why would they? It's absolutely true and I can see how. Smash is a very demanding game, requiring constant quick thrashes of the stick. Sm4sh is no exception, and the Circle Pad was clearly not intended for this sort of abuse. I'm worried about this too as well, but I think it'll be alright for the time being. Here's hoping the New 3DS has a better pad.
  16. Bumping this again, because I've got an actual review this time! Tonka Raceway, for the Game Boy Color, is it terrible?? Yes Watch the review to find out!
  17. Nothing like coming down with a cold to make you realize you need to record some reviews before it's too late!

  18. I wound up getting the demo yesterday from an awesome soul over at Retro (that's what I was asking about on here.) It's a ton of fun! Even with only one stage and five characters, I've already put quite a bit of time into it. While it sucks they didn't release it for everybody, you can play local multiplayer on it, so I did a dozen matches or so with a friend. There was a couple instances where it chugged, even with us sitting right beside each other, but for the most part, it worked surprisingly well. I'm very impressed at how good the game looks, as well as how it plays. If you've been watching the streams, they really don't do the game justice. For those that don't know, the demo will be out for everybody next week. If you're on the fence about it, I'd suggest picking it up and having a go. It's way better than Brawl and the right cross between it and Melee (exactly like they said it'd be, actually.)
  19. So is there a kind soul who can spare a 3DS code? :V
  20. Happy to have this finished (in case you missed it in my topic:)

  21. Well thanks man! I appreciate that! I'd like to get somewhere, but as far as I'm concerned now, I just hope people will watch and like what they see. : Speaking of which, gonna bump my own topic with a new video! I'm sure all of you have heard of Five Nights at Freddy's by now, so I decided the best way to play this game was with my friends. They weren't ready. Enjoy! maybe subscribe if you haven't :vvv
  22. Hey thanks! I tend to do older stuff, usually from the 80's or 90's. If you've gotany suggestions, I'm happy to hear 'em!
  23. If you were around for SAGE and saw me streaming, there's a good chance you saw me plugging my series, Neo Reviews. Well, all summer I've been telling myself I should get back into the swing of making videos and now I finally have! Neo Reviews is my series where I review games (usually older, sometimes obscure titles) and maybe other things in the future. I just released my first episode in over a year, a review of Shovel Knight. This game reminded me why I liked to game in the first place and was kind of the push that got me back into it. My plan is try to get at least one review a month out, while also releasing other things as well. Here's a couple others I've done so far, probably my favorites I'd reckon. So I'm throwing this out here as both a publicity thing (because hey, knowing people are watching is nice!) but also as a means for feedback! I know my microphone setup isn't the greatest and is unfortnately inconsistent, but aside from that, I'm open to suggests and comments. Plus, if you've got any games you'd like to see or think I should review, let me know!
