  1. Just tried it out myself. Hate to be a bit harsh, but the game just seemed annoying to me.. 1. I don't know about anyone else but the stripe design on the ground really bothered my eyes... and looks really ugly IMO. 2. I like the Crab badnik but I think there was waaaay too many and I consider it really annoying not only for constantly bumping into one every few seconds, but for being the only real challenge in the whole demo. 3. Didn't like the level layouts so much..found them to be really short and bland with a lot of slopes. I suggest more gimmicks and more alternate paths. 4. The boss was incredibly easy & repetitive plus took too many jumps to kill. Although, almost all 1st bosses in sonic games are like this so I suppose you'll slide. However I would suggest adding another attack pattern for it. The game does has potential, don't get me wrong but it needs a lot of work.
  2. Actually the intro is Route 99 (I'm guessing act 1?) from Sonic Advance 3 and the latter half of the song is "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku" from Dragonball GT.
  3. Most likely, teasers of any sort, won't be shown until a great significant amount of progress is done from all of us on the team. I suggest everyone just please be very patient for a while longer, something will be shown eventually when ready.
  4. I've beaten the game already and I'm now working on the achievements. I gotta say this takes the cake as my favorite 3D sonic game and neck to neck to my all time favorite Sonic game, Sonic CD. I wish the reviews were better though, it seems the the game is getting alot of undeserved bashing... Sure, I rather play as Sonic then the Werehog, but the Werehog's stages aren't that bad...

  6. As far as I know, every past level/boss in the previous demos (I think except Nexmas) will reappear in future builds with some tweaks here and there.
  7. Yes, I'm glad were on the same page here. Some games involved taking away sonic's rings but only with certain attacks (Sonic advance 2 for example), personally I wished we had a boss fight in which every attack took away a certain amount of rings. It'll add more challenge and difficulty while your losing more rings per second ..
  8. Its not that Super Sonic can't be fun for final bosses, its because Sonic Team hasn't made a game in which it is and/or challenging. The only final boss involving a super formed character I thought was fun and somewhat difficult was from Sonic and the Secret Rings, but then again it had different gameplay and it wasn't Super Sonic. So far all Super Sonic final bosses have been way too easy and not fun at all but as long as there is some difficulty, there shouldn't be complaints.. For in levels not so much, pretty much your invincible and there isn't much challenge unless the level contains lots of bottomless pits or things that'll crush you. (or any one hit kill gimmicks that super sonic isn't immune to.)
  9. When Brad told me to design the clock tower he didn't have a name for it besides it being in the wicked works level, so I pretty much dubbed it as the Egg-Clock...I always thought that was the official name since we always referred to it as the Egg-Clock...
  10. Just reporting another glitch. This happened in Act 1 with the speed shoes. I jumped up from the tip of a hill then Sonic went through the wall and got stuck between it and a pair of spikes.
  11. Yes, good call. I was aware of the grass and such, I'll also add some bushes as well and change the greenhill-like palmtrees.
  12. Sorry about the Buzz-bomber in the intro, It was made way back before I knew about the enemies in the game. This is the version with the Heli-bomber.   13. I feel kinda degraded in the sense that "I'm am just an animator working for free!". I mean come on, just tell me whats wrong, and I'll attempt to fix whatever problem there is. Just don't tell me "You work for free and I'm just a bonus thats there" I'll attempt to try to add some more frame by frame, I'll also remove some tweening. As well I will touch up on the artwork as well on the background and such. This is just the first release of the intro I assure it'll get better in later releases...but for now just tell me some specific parts that really need work.

  16. I'm having a similar problem as well, at first it was working fine until I beat the level the first time and now the music won't play and it won't go full screen anymore...
  17. Very cool project, I wish I could play it on my DS. Unfortunately I don't have the equipment for it. I remember a while back a few websites mentioned something about a sonic game by the name of Sonic Attitude for the DS and it was to appear at e3 08. Strange......
  18. This game looks very interesting and quite fun. I'm really loving the effects especially when you boost. This is the first time I stumbled upon this fan-game and I never experienced the Christmas Demo that I read about in the first post, but will all items need to be activated from the Inventory system?

  21. I've tried that but no luck. Also sometimes when I jump on top of the enemie s,I get hurt instead of them.. Nice concept and idea it just needs a bugs fix and a nice polish.
