Michael B.
I'm none too fond of it. As for advice, I'd say make the quills looks more natural in all of the sprites. Otherwise that it looks ok, I guess.
Rawr
Jeez, upload a full sheet and no one even looks at it. I find making single posts like this to annoy me somewhat haha. People may have looked at it but didn't post anything because they didn't find anything wrong with it/or didn't have anything meaningful to say at the time. People aren't always gonna be there to comment on everything you do, I know that because of posting stuff over at Sonic Stadium where people look over it because its not Sonic but theres nothing I can do about that. Stop worrying about what everyone seeing it might have to say and just keep working away, people will comment when they do

OverbounD
You didn't even give it 4 hours before complaining! Anyway the sprite looks good I defiantly like it better than what you had before. Gonna have anything for SAGE?
Delta Hedgehog
I really hope so. I'm programming Checkpoints and Enemies. Then I'll start. BTW, when is SAGE and how can I join?

Delta Hedgehog
Okay. This is probably one of the most retarded things I have ever asked. I'm having trouble picking a pattern to go under the grass for my beach level. I was going to use Tidal Tempest GF, but I'm saving that. Any ideas for a dirt pattern? 200th POST! Delta Hedgehog
FINISHED MY GRAPHICS FOR SAGE! Take a look.
OverbounD
Impressive I like the use of the MGZ plant for the top of the plamtree. Few things though. First I'd make your brown bricks have just a little more contrast. Second on the base of the palmtree looks slightly blocky at its horizontal ends see if you can't make it look rounder. Third I'm not sure GHZ plant life is the best you could do the level seems to have a hint of a jungle theme that just doesn't match with the GHZ plant life. Last and least I bet you could make your own totem poll if you tried use what you've got there as a reference and see if you can't make one that's wider and shorter with bigger wings try it if you want to.
Delta Hedgehog
Well, I thought the Green Hill Foliage looked pretty good. I'll take your advice and edit the sheet.
Sparks
That background seems way too small. o_O

XeroNazoBlaze
Those graphics looks nice, but I think the palmtree needs a bit of shading.
Gear_The_Hedgehog
The problem with the palmtree is that the shading is symetric and that's kinda unnatural, but i think is pretty easy to fix that, because even if the sun is above, shadows are below, is always one way or another not symetrical, except if the level is inside a house, fabric, cave, or whatever the lights are set in all directions. Sslaxx
Small Update:[qimg]http://i836.photobucket.com/albums/zz281/darkspikes598/SummerCoastZone-2.png[/qimg] If you expect certain types of people who frequent this site to respect that "not for public use" notice, you're sadly mistaken. I'd watermark your stuff if I were you.

Briraka
... Those ground tiles look a LOT like the ones I'm using for Ruinic Hill. And I wouldn't flip the downward slopes to make upward ones.
OverbounD
I was kinda thinking the same thing. But you have to realize they all come from the same place SEEEEEGAAAAAAAAA.
USC
How do you watermark stuff? Make a semi-transparent trademark that covers parts of the image; it makes it harder for people to steal it, as they'd have to redraw parts. Although honestly, it works better with 'real' drawings compared to sprite art.
GSF
Just save as a crappy JPG with ~70% quality. Edges will be screwed up, but it's enough for pointing out things to improve. Add a watermark if you wish, as well. Here's a piece with 70%
