SupaChao
If anyone has runtime problems, copy the mmfs2.dll to the Data\Runtime folder where edrt.exe is. I saw you at the clickteam forum =D I think Duffski deserves a clap for figuring out how to solve that xD
Asuma
it's out now, pricing:TGF - $59.00, for the UK: 34.00 MMF2 - $119.00 for the UK: 74.00 MMF2D - $369.00 for the UK: 229.00 That's not a bad price for MMF2 Man, it sucks to be middle class. SupaChao
Thats because its hit the time where everyone is awake and trying to get the demos at once.
Metal-Geo
Yeah... seems the site died. Too much visitors eh? I guess MMF2/TGF2 is more popular than Clickteam imagined.
DiabloHedgehog
Layers = very good, using 2 right now and theres no performance hit on my 2.6 pentium 4. The built in alpha is also good, using it on a 96x64 sprite and 32x32 bouncing balls and theres no slowdown even with about 150 of them bouncing around a 640x480 screen with scrolling. 1LT Worm
Maybe they made a Mac version this time. If not, I guess I could rough it on the family PC.
dsguru
The in-game rotating seems to be pretty fast.
Gamerdude
I got the demo as I still wait for my discount code...everything is as expected in my eyes. I'm just hoping that my few e-mails I sent to a couple of extension developers will bring some portage over to MMF 2...

I may get the demo later, but not now. I don't see the point if it's just going to end up expiring and I can't save .exes. When I get the money to buy it, then I may get the demo so I can understand fully what I'm getting.
Damizean
I just ported the 360º engine to MMF2, but decided to erase some features so it doesn't need any extension anymore. I still don't like the overall function of the program, seems it has evolved litte from MMF :/ Edit: On other side, seems they've improved the rendering system, I don't get any lag and the engine works at stable 60 fps (I've tryied this with DX + Vram usage)

Gamerdude
I just got my discount code. For having a standard version of MMF 1.5, I get either 42% off of MMF2 or 14% off MMF2 Developer. MMF2 Standard it is =P.

Gamerdude
And geedee is in a world of joy =P Indeed. I think one of the best new features is the layer system. Backdrops can now easily be over actives and parallax is so easy :3.
JJames19119
I too have gotten the discount code and I must say, I am quite pleased with MMF2. The only downside is that if you use third party extensions not in the bonus packs, you're totally screwed. The extensions must be converted before you can use them in run-time on MMF2 and while the standard extensions and the bonus pack extensions are all being converted, the rest are left to either be picked up by the original creator or to die. The latter being the most likely thing to happen. However, it's possible to still EDIT applications with any third party extensions meaning if you do can replace a third party extension with what MMF2 can do now, then you have hope. =D Though I can imagine this will doom the 360 engine since it relies on the Maths Army Knife extension, something that will likely not be ported over. =P
Rael0505
Actually, Dami already ported it: I just ported the 360º engine to MMF2, but decided to erase some features so it doesn't need any extension anymore. Pls give it to us now Dami.
Gamerdude
Yeah, you don't need the extensions to make the 360 engine work, Dami explained to me how he ported it, it isn't that bad.
