  1. ok I suppose just replying with a thread link may not be a welcoming way to post, but when you said this it comes across as you don't want to do anything but want us to help, and that's where the replies go downhill. Anyway that dash engine has springs and loops from what I've seen. I doubt you'll get a complete engine with all the gimmicks you want but it's a good starting point. I suppose worlds has much more but you haven't mentioned whether you're using GM or MMF2.
  2. You're getting info, it's just not enough info for you and you don't seem to like it. If you can't see the help that's being given then oh well..
  3. They all seem to emulate a sonic game apparently. They're files, not softwares, they don't slow your PC down. If you read the post it says (Recommended) next to one of the engines, now if I had no idea what does what I'd definately think of trying the "Recommended" one out. Assistance is helping someone out, not spoonfeeding them. The post has the list of engines with all the info you are asking for, ie. whats good, whats bad, which has bugs etc. Download each engine and run it and see if it's how you'd want your game to be then keep it. If you couldn't read english and mentioned that in your post then maybe members would go out of their way to help but right now you come across as quite lazy, IMO.
  4. It went well with your video, actually sounds like a marble garden zone remix sort of song.
  5. well then I suppose all the other GM'ers should take note of this then
  6. put the action "only once when event loops" as a condition in the uphill slope event. it seems to stop it jumping up.
  7. Nice game, there were a few bugs like when going over the first two fans on level 1 if you don't make it to the platform and fall down into the water keyboard input seems to stay disabled. The fans seem to shake you quite quick and you fall swiftly once you're off them. Also I can't move left or right once I've gotten an air bubble. Apart from that it all seems okay, and seeing as yours is GM it loaded quite quick compared to most of the other GM games.
  8. np. oh you mean the mmf movement types? i suppose that's why google never showed anything about it.
  9. either you have to detect the position of the floor and stop at it, or you go through it, stop the y movement (Set Y counter to 0) and then set the position of your player above the floor. try the attachment and see how it is. PS - What exactly is a 'static engine'? All the years everyone has mentioned it I never bothered to ask. staticpractice-1.mfa
  10. Or making them move using sin and cos would be better and smoother.
  11. That's all the BSOD's usually are, driver problems or faulty hardware. The only only annoying problem I've had is when the sleep functions decide to stop working.
  12. According to wikipedia it is 64-bit (AMD64) and I'm pretty sure all cpu's made for PC's are 64 bit compatible nowadays. The only thing that'll take advantage of 64-bit is the ram (4gb and over) and 64 bit programs, the 32 bit ones like MMF2 and Construct and emulators for that matter just run in 32 bit mode (they appear in the taskmanager as program.exe*32 and 64 bit apps appear as normal).
  13. nah, he stopped bothering with clickteam long time ago. but its good that hes released his source.
  14. true mmf2 is nothing but a recode and those extra functions, new design, ability to have nicer icons. and like i said without those vital extensions it sucks. 1.5 ftw
