I want to convert the x and y speeds of my object into an angle.
so we have: xspeedvar, yspeedvar
If i wanted to do this on my Ti84 it would go something like this.
Tan^-1 ( yspeedvar / xspeedvar )[/CODE] That would give me the angle, no problem. But when i try to do this in mmf2 i fail, i just don't know how to do this in the expression editor. mainly the "Tan^-1" is giving the problems, i always end up with a syntax error. The calc actually has a specific button for it and the mmf2 expression editor does not. I've checked the advanced math object but i couldn't find anything. (something tells me i didn't look hard enough) Please help. :x
