Spike
The resolution is about 3 times as big as any Sonic game. It needs a background. The tiles don't line up correctly. Why is he floating in the last one?
Aaron C-T
I like the sprite, it's unique/stylized and incredibly cool-looking. Outside of that, what Spike said. Also, the title screen is kind of "blah." The logo itself is good though, if you just fix up those spots in the "Zoom" text.

sonicdude3
Please excuse some crudity, This is a extremely early engine test.
Spike
Looks nice so far, but I can honestly say that I do not like that Sonic sprite. It has serious shading issues. The rest looks pretty good though.
MSUK
Something I was working on earlier. It's "Meh" but it's a start. Also, I'm back. =D
TRD
Yes it is. Replace that black with a darker or lighter color of purple in that mountains and it should be straight from there. After that, build off of it, find objects and materials that will fit the environment you got there, and you should have a decent stage.
sharkysilver
Screens from my new game, very early in development. Shadow in a cut-scene Sonic in a cut-scene Another one of sonic in a cut-scene. (still needs a little editing) I'v still got a hell of a lot of work to do on the eingine development and levels so when i have more to show in them i'l post some more screenshots. Khorney
less gritty emo shadow story please, also sonics story art has transparency (or just black fo some reason, i can't really see) on the top of its eye, fix that

Spike
Sharkysilver, you need to fix the punctiuation errors in your cutscene. They really make it look unprofessional.
DimensionWarped
Yep. The grammar is rather shoddy. Got Spell/Grammarcheck?
Rael0505
[qimg]http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s268/Metalsluguk/meh.png[/qimg]Something I was working on earlier. It's "Meh" but it's a start. Also, I'm back. =D Jesus Christ, love the cloud palette. The sky is beautiful and vibrant. The mountains, however, aren't. Put more contrast in the colors and brighten the lighter ones a little. Also the darkest color on the spring yard mountains is way too dark. The clouds are simply gorgeous though. This is a big improvement from your last background.
TRD
Some samples of a Mode7 cutscene in the making: I used the Mode7 extension tutorials for the Angel Island scene, did a few edits and voila. And I'm using my drawings (Drew on some drawing paper and scanned it) for the animations. Not the best drawings, but this should be a nice feature. Midiman
I think I <3 you for Mode 7 TRD. now what you wanna do is edit up that map / get a replacement from an obscure GBA game and edit it then I will be fucking happy as hell

I've played it, one of the best fangames I've ever played, yeah the cutscenes were awesome. I'll try and have a video out of this cutscene I'm working on by tomorrow. Thanks!
