Delta Hedgehog
Looks kinda empty. Needs some more background pieces.
OverbounD
Naww... I like it the way it is. It may be slightly sparce but the idea is that due to chemicals the ice caps have melted. There wouldn't be much left if that happened. Plus I'll make an entirely separate indoor background. It isn't called Frigid Fortress for nothing. JetHawk95
Looks amazing overbound! Aren't they the Barrels from Toxic Caves? The only reason the picture looks kinda empty is because, well its a background. With the front tiles and level in place it'll look much better! And ahhh so its a Fortress and an Ice level in one? Very interesting...
BlazefireLP
Make the barrels look more decayed the closer they are to being situated in the water. I think that'd be a nice touch.
luksamuk
Overbound, that may seem silly to the level, but what about some ice that hasn't been melted yet floating and being carried by the water? That may reduce the emptiness feeling. Unless you make the level without many open outside areas.

Dark Raven X
HRM. Guess I'm gonna be scrapping my tileset and starting over. -___- That grass is so hard to put together. :/
Delta Hedgehog
HUD = Good. Tileset= Good. Lack of Grass Shadow = Bad Looks great Dark Raven X.
Dark Raven X
Oh, the lack of a drop shadow on the grass was very intentional. ;D It's just, turns out now, the pieces do not flow right. :/
TailsSena
Put the new sprites in the game. They look..... Good.[qimg]http://i836.photobucket.com/albums/zz281/darkspikes598/screenshotsvarious.png[/qimg] Uhmm... Fix the coconuts and the starpost. Coconuts look a little to ununiform, and the starpost is a little dull, brighten the red 'round the actual star and it should look fine. Otherwise I love it!! I may show you an easier way.
Dark Raven X
It's more a problem with the 'underneath' part of it. Which annoys me, cause I spent a lot of time removing the shadow under there. XD The idea with this tileset is that it's moss growing on the wood, not grass, so I liked the idea of not having any shadow under it. But I don't think each piece flows into the next at all. :/
luksamuk
Ah, I see. Maybe you should make it appear more often through the wooden ground, then. May be a solution.
TailsSena
Maybe having a simple little one pixel drop shadow instead of a fancy 3-6? You'd be surprised the difference that can be made with one pixel.
Goshi68
Despite it being bland as all-fuck, I decided to take a screenshot of the graphics test for my game. Yeah. I'm serious, everything except the background is either fully custom or an edit of something else. Edits: The font (SA3), the background (Rush Adventure) and Sonic himself (SA1-3) Custom: The tileset. While the scenery will be edits, the tileset itself is bonafide (I believe that is the correct term...) custom by moi.
Hybrid35
Hm...I like it. Lets see what others have to say.
Strife
I would definitely recommend shrinking that HUD. Also, the red may be difficult to make out on certain backgrounds, so perhaps you could add a white border around the lettering to make it stand out more. Rawr
I'd recommend doing something about that red too, it clashes a bit and its a little hard on the eyes. That custom tileset is looking pretty sweet though. However it feels a tiny bit flat/monotonous. I don't know anything off the top of my head you could add to spruce it up, but its on its way. Keep going!
luksamuk
I...well, I'm actually not too keen on these colors. And I think you should also add a bit more detail to the top of the grass :B
