Highwire4 Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 I hope not. I'd still be more excited for it's release no matter what other games are coming out. I'd LOVE to do some final testing. I like exploring stages completely for bugs or glitches...I swear I did that for Sonic and Knuckles for two years! I do the exact same thing with nearly all of my games. Breaking games and hunting for weird glitches is the funnest thing in the world and I can successfully break a number of sonic games, zelda games, Saints row, and utterly destroy Jak 3. I'd probably be a really good candidate for play-testing buuut I need a genuine first reaction kind of commentary for when I lets play the game for my channel. Aizen90 Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 It's brilliant and so oddly different how the Ice/Casino stage is the zone before the "final" Eggman base zone, I thought for a long time (until about two months ago) the ice zone would lead to inside the volcano and then you'd go up the volcano to reach the airships/Eggfleet, but no, it's pretty interesting. I just found a glitch when playing through the demo, on Cyan City act 1, I was at the part where you have two fans on the floor and one of those small red enemies with the shield standing on a block between the two fans and you have to hover over the badnik using the fans without touching him, I landed on him with no rings but instead of dying, the losing a life jingle played but I just bounced off him still in Sonic's floating animation, landed and carried on playing as normal. Also at the beginning of act 1, if you take the lower path, when you come across the double helix loop section, you can go down from there about two or three floors, all that way down there's a pillar/wall that you can walk through and out the other side, which is necessary for the top half of the wall because one of the double helix paths goes through it, but there's no need for the bottom half not to be solid, when you walk through the bottom half of the wall there's nothing on the other side and you just fall to your death (through some interesting wall textures not seen anywhere else in the level I should add on the way down) that bottom half of the wall under the lowest red piping needs to be sealed up so you can't go through it. So I was at school the other day in keyboard class... We have to do this thing on the computer called music ace, which is RIDICULOUSLY easy, when you are at the musical level that I am. When we get done with the lesson, we are allowed to mess around on this thing called doodle pad on the program... It's a very basic music composition program with about 5 different sounds to choose from. So I went to go choose my most recent song, and as I was scrolling through songs, I noticed one titled toot toot warrior... It was the exact melody of toot toot sonic warrior, except at the end it was b flat b flat b flat c, instead of b flat a flat (I'm pretty sure, I can't quite remember off the top of my head, if not, its just a) b flat c. But now I found a few games to play while I wait, and also a new release of my favorite hack after a year and two months of wait. I got angry because of the never ending wait of Half-Life 3 reveals, combined with massive flood on a Half-Life forum, and members of that same forum saying things I couldn't endure about Minecraft and Zelda, so if Lake was realy Gabe Newell, I think I would be very mad.
