  1. There was nothing high society/posh or whatever about my post, all I ever did was have a disagreement with someone and wanted an actual conversation about it, at least an argument that actually made sense. But I'm clearly not allowed to do that with a lot of you, I just have to shut my trap and go along with anyone and anything, and all this is on me apparently for daring to speak, because no one wants to fucking read anything to see who's really at fault. Some of you here, I don't want you to ever talk to me again, being absolute dickheads because I had an opinion, it's been almost nothing but people jumping down my throat every time I post anything ever since I simply asked people not to spoil the game a while back. Now to enjoy the OST and forget all this crap.
  2. Yep if you don't like those sections that's fine your opinion, and even though I can't understand or agree with your reasons, you at least elaborated, no one else who's had these complaints about the levels has bothered to have an actual conversation and just felt like being difficult (like you ZigZax, thanks for choosing not to read anything I said and blame "my anger"). At least I got one thing from this, I see why Sonic Retro has a 10-20 post system before you're validated for membership. I'm really saddened/done with some of you, thanks a bunch.
  3. I've explained everything to you calmly, without caps lock except for that once sentance where I told you to go and his read his posts, and you know why? Because so far this has been an entire page of duckboy being an ass and you ignoring everything he has said, not bothering to look at any of the posts for yourself, yet you continue to question me on what he's said, and after this much time with a page full of posts like this, I got to the point where I used caps lock for 'three words' oh god the horror. And guess what, even in reply to me saying go look at his posts, you still haven't done it, you're still for some reason obsessed about the fact that I used 'a bad word' at duckboy after he'd been constantly insulting through sarcasm at me and lange while refusing to actually answer any of our questions properly, that's why after a long period of time, I started to get insulting and use the word tosser, at that point he deserved someone to say something to him, and I reached a point after a while where I was getting too annoyed, I didn't just bring my insults out of nowhere from the start like he did. And ironically by ignoring everything I said and refusing to look at his posts and get the picture you just pointlessly overused caps far more than I did. And if people who are annoyed by this want to know why it's carried on for so long, there's your reason. Now, enough.
  4. Also, read what I specifically quoted from him, and furthermore, READ. HIS. POSTS. This is getting really tiring, it would go a lot smoother if you would carefully read previous comments for yourself instead of relying on me. I've done nothing except bring up a few points against people bitching because they suck at water sections that are actually better than most other water sections in official sonic games, what in the hell has caused these kinds of replies to me? The only time I started talking with a insulting tone was after Duckboy made three dickish replies. And then for some reason the caps lock brigade arrived during that too. You people need to calm the hell down, this is seriously ridiculous.
  5. He's not even exactly arguing at this point. I stated clearly he's being childishly sarcastic to me, Lange/anyone he's responding to about something he's misunderstood, I've only just now gotten a bit irritated by it, but his posts have come off as being in a really assy mood and won't let it go.
  6. The only one being offensive and immature is duckboy, but I'm not going to be sweet and kind in reply, and no need for that I'm done already.
  7. So I guess Lange wants to marry himself according to your logic. I'm still seeing your replies with no actual responses/elaboration on specifically what makes those sections "omg terrible!", and again, no one said the game is without flaws, I've said that some people have brought up a couple of legitimate complaints, but I think what you're saying is rediculous imo. But of course, opinions. Edit: No wait, you know what, after your latest post, if you're not going to listen to what others are telling you and make up your own assumptions then yeah, you are just acting like a complete and utter dick. Okay wow I didn't even notice this "hey guys i'm okay with legit criticism unless it's legit criticism i don't agree with then it's nitpicking and you just aren't good at the game! l2p!!!!" Heh I always thought I'd seen your name for a long time and were a long time member of the forums, but I guess you're what, five? Please don't bother getting in a discussion with people until you can stop with the misunderstood childish sarcasm you massive tosser.
  8. Okay Duckboy you may think it's fanboy praising, I'm actually countering points that I feel are edging on nit picking and people who just aren't good at playing certain parts of the game but whine about it, your response to my post btw was nothing but simply repeating what you already said without any elaboration, unlike mine. I have noticed a couple of legit criticisms that have been brought up but just not been bothered to post about them, sooo, okay...hope you all enjoy your little caps locks there I guess.
  9. I don't even know what your first sentence meant, but anyway, not every underwater section in every sonic game is bad, plus this let's you keep the bubble so you can't drown and has sugar rush sections where you can run very fast, both these things made me really enjoy the underwater segments. And as for act 3, if you time your jumps right, the waves can actually help you reach higher platforms/routes and avoid enemies, it's a useful gimmick. As for being hit by the 'turning sugar into fire guys', be better at playing sonic? Because I didn't feel there were enemy placement issues with those badniks, I've only been hit by them a couple of times fairly. I didn't realize on that certain track that it was Andy singing most of it until I went and rewatched the start of Gwolf's twitch video (too distracted by difficulty to notice), that's hilarious, XD and it sounds awesome good job.
  10. For people who've played the Sugar Splash bosses (since that's out of the bag now), do you think they were worth keeping in, or was it a good think Lake removed them when compared to the later bosses?
  11. A few people people seem to have a problem with the bosses and that's alright, their opinions, but some points they could consider. For the first boss as long as you don't have the bubble shield it's a good difficulty for the first boss. I think the only boss that wasn't that great in the whole game was Cyan City's, it was better than the demo because of the surprise of how different it is, and it is slightly harder, even if only by a hair, but if Lake changed that boss because it was too easy, then he could've done a better job at raising the difficulty from the original boss, or you could've improved the one from the demo by making the spikes on the orb start to come out at random really fast, and make the orb itself move left to right faster. The rest of the bosses are all amazing imo, very inventive and original, maybe they could've been harder, but for me it's a case where the difficulty doesn't ruin how extremely enjoyable they are, plus I still get hit a few times by some of them, someone on retro just said they drag and there's too many multiple phases. I love the multiple phases not only for how creative they are but because of the length, it's just right, the bosses last the perfect amount of time, if you want to see pacing for bosses with multiple forms done badly go play Sonic 4 Episode II, I think at this point saying "I feel the bosses are dragging, don't like the multiple phases" is just the sonic fanbase being the sonic fanbase. When you look back at the bosses from the classic games, some of them do end too quickly, Chemical Plants' can last five seconds, the length of these are much improved and it's well balanced, and again I love the ideas and how fun they are apart from Cyan City's.
  12. Ah yeah, thanks, it makes sense now. So, a pattern with BTS and ATS, the second zone of each game involves the characters getting high in some form, I wonder if Lake's done it again for the second main area in Chrono Adventure that would be awesome.
  13. I think some people are reading far too deeply into the level design, the levels are just as long with as much variation and alternate routes as S3&k's levels, I don't think anything's automated I always feel in control, tons of platforming that work well with the gimmicks so how do the gimmicks take over all other aspects of the level design? And I'm not seeing how some think the levels drag. Btw Lake, what is the snowflake falling at the end of Sugar Splash supposed to relate to later in the game? Maybe I'm being stupid but I haven't figured it out yet.
  14. That was an awesome stream with MegaGWolf guys! Hope his review will be good.
  15. Yeah I think those people are out of their minds, but don't bring "if you can't do it you can't complain" into it, that barely ever works.
