Spike
Ksoft, I rather like the HUD. I do think that the color should change to match the level, though. It looks out of place.

MrKsoft
Lookin good, Ksoft. Any idea when a new demo will be ready? I have been aiming for tomorrow. It might be a bit of a disappointment, though. I've seen enough Techno Terror while developing the engine to go insane, so Act 2 is short and not as good as Act 1 (from the previous demo with some changes). I'll have to go back to it later. =P
Spike
Check out this game I'm working on. I plan on putting out the demo within the next month. I also plan on putting Tails and Knuckles in very soon. (lolz unoriningal name) Title screen (The background moves horizontally and quickly.) Slopes and such Showing the background Playing as Super Sonic See anything you like or don't like? Any feedback is welcome, unless it involves the game title. Rael0505
What makes this, the fifth or sixth Sonic 4 fangame? Look at the sky. It goes from a deep blue to a turquoise to a light blue. It should fade more, it looks terrible. Make a gradient. You colored the mountains gray. It looks dull compared to everything else. Fix it. Grass needs a shadow under it, too. Looking good otherwise, I like what I see.
SupaChao
Dami, mine is just a glorified version, with trees =p Curtosy of Rael, if I remeber.
Spike
The grass on the ground, or the trees that look like grass in the background... Which one did you mean needs the shadow, Rael?
tentril
Grass on the platforms/ground. Also those trees are gross.
Spike
Gee thanks, I ripped them straight from Sonic 3.

LarkSS
I'm wondering if your engine handles isometric collisions well. For example: Does Sonic act like the sides are slopes, or does he overlap the land making it seem like its a flat platform with a tilted view? Also, the angle for each side should be the same. What I'm seeing now is the left side is a flip of the right.

Spike
Oh, THOSE trees? Yes, they are horrible. I was planning on fixing them soon. LarkSS, it is Isometric. He lands down flat on them for a 3D-ish look.
LarkSS
See how Sonic can be behind and in front of the 3dish ground? That's what I was asking. Can yours do that?
Spike
At some points, yes. Layering, right?
Felik
Nope! I've just created active objects which are in front of sonic and backdrops(not obstacles) which are behind backdrops(obstacles)
1LT Worm
Here's the current state of Mac OS X fan games: Uhh, yeah. He can move left and right. Walk, mind you. I need to look at good ol' Dami's code to start work on jumping and running. =)
MidimanNull
.... Magic Pink? on a Mac?...??? Anyways, it looks like its going to be pretty good, if you can get past this.
1LT Worm
....Magic Pink? on a Mac?...??? Anyways, it looks like its going to be pretty good, if you can get past this. I'm compiled a similiar engine that Dami wrote before (in like May). Looks like this: Sonic could run and jump and everything. I guess there was a problem with collisions. I'm trying to make my own engine. I can't copy and paste Dami's because his uses some voodoo C++ (aka good C++) that incompatible with my current system (aka sketchy C++).
