If anything I can only suggest the grass shadow being a bit bigger since I'm not too keen on small shadowing. (Especially since you're using a faded shadow which makes it feel even smaller.) If I were to go with F, then I'd make the tiles a bit more gray-ish and the grass tiles more green-ish. Also, there was a tutorial on Sonic style title logos. Anyone still have it?
