Sonic Before The Sequel - Final Trailer And Beta Testing
Hypersonic645 replied to LakeFeperd's topic in Game Project Showcase
I remember this back in the Screenshots thread last year. I really like those animated cutscenes. Also, VS Reala music. Yes. -
Still WIP. And, yeah. Megaman.
-
Someday, there will be a fanmade S3&K port for the Sega CD with your music.

Sonic Triple Trouble: Robotnik Winter?

I've been replaying lots of Legend of Zelda:Minish Cap. It's a fucking amazing game. I don't know why they didn't let Capcom develop the other two DS games, they are really good with the series. unlike what they do with megaman...

Been reworking and creating characters. Heavy WIP Loving how Scarf Kid is turning out. And thankfully, I can get programming done during this week.

Thinking of Making a Game, need Writers
Hypersonic645 replied to VirtAnderson's topic in Game Project Assistance
Does a Sonic game really need any story elements? Last time I checked, all you need for a story was Sonic and Eggman having some kind of conflict with (insert gimmick crap here). -
Heh, the enemy concept was actually used before, in a official game. A game called Gimmick!/Mr.Gimmick for the NES by Sunsoft. Enemies can interact with the physics of the game and could make mistakes just like the player can. It's hard to explain, so I'll put a video here.
-
Why not just use an emulator? I used to have the SEGA Smash Pack CDs. Both of them. And you know what, I did not enjoy them. Fucking framerate and screensize. Playing Gimmick! for NES by Sunsoft. It's hard as balls because of it's physics engine, but I love. I played the game through. Twice.

Sonic Skywind - | Shadow's Story | E101-MKII
Hypersonic645 replied to SaitoSan's topic in Game Project Showcase
Those help signals are useless if you are just going to run through them and see only 0.5 seconds of it. At least let the textbox stay for 10 secs. Also, Sonic looks like there's flames on his feet instead of sparks when he's grinding. -
@StevenM Saw you post these on Pixelation, those goddamn explosions look amazing.
-
Did some reworking I really like it, much more than the past one.
-
@P3DR0 The static head was intentional, I was only focusing on the punches and kick. Most of my references came from Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, a game FULL of fluid animations. Ken and Ryu's moves mostly. EDIT:Oh okay, I see what your talking about. The idle animations...
-
That's music from Megaman Battle Network 4.5 Yeah, I think it's the legs on the kick that looked like he was moving left. They aren't wide enough. But, thank you for the critisism.
-
Still working on this. Replaced the rapid jabs with a roundhouse. Once again, I slap layers on and didn't give a shiz. @sonicyoda fixed the length of punches I'll post a video on my progress later. EDIT: http://youtu.be/ikGZLq0E0L8 read description.

Sounds rad... Rad enough to think that Sonic 3K was on a Sega CD
-
You should have made another topic if you wanted more attention... oh well. Due to the fact that I was still playing a Sonic game, I kept dieing in the really huge falls. I really liked the wall jumping and running features. Reminded me of Eggman Hates Furries. I'm really excited on how this turns into a indie game.
-
Got done with a rough of McSkip's basic combo. I don't know about the rapid jabs. Slapped some animation layers on from GraphicsGale to GIMP and didn't bother with timing. >_>

Same thing. The only difference is the coding syntax. Genesis uses ASM/Assembly Code Cave Story uses C++

Sonic Advance: Worlds general help

You won't get results like that with Audacity. You need musical experience to remix songs. -
Sonic Advance: Worlds general help
Hypersonic645 replied to TailsSena's topic in Game Project Assistance
pfft... if you wanna "HD-ify" and remix 16-bit soundtracks, you gotta use something more than Audacity. You have to change the whole song and replace the instruments with real instruments. -
Oh sorry about that DW. Didn't intend to make this a useless joke topic. Design wise, I do have ideas on level progression. So basically, you have this map where select your own route(think Castlevania 3) and choosing either routes will change the difficulty, story progression, and key items you get. @gsoft Gunstar Heroes Wall kicking, not asskicking lol. Play the game and try kicking a wall. You bounce off of it instead of how Sonic grabs and slides down, waiting for you to press the jump button to get to the next wall. Also, have you googled Jokaim Sandberg? His games are up to par with Treasure's actiony gameplay. Also, no Super Sonic. Screw that. Refer to Super Shredder in TMNT 3 and 4.

Oh god... its that guy... So yeah, what up? Not really working on a fangames, mostly because I try to make one I lose interest. Hope you guys like this. Awaiting a few responses... Project Radical Asskickers Video:http://youtu.be/Cd3F-4wX9bo This is a game about asskicking, saving your girlfriend, and ending evil in space. Story Mechanical robots are destroying The City, but former hero, McSkip, has no care for the situation. That was until they stole his girlfriend and that was where they crossed the line. Forced to kickass, he must defeat an assortment of mechas and find his girlfriend. yeah, and pixel work dump This where I'll post my development for the game. I'm sorry about the lack of information.

Tepig is so damn similar to teabag lol. Is B/W worth getting anyway? I don't feel like going through the same shit again...
