Delta Hedgehog
I like the lava level graphics. I also came up with a name for the zone: Crimson Rock Zone
Strife
I've uploaded a new WIP of Jade Hilltop. It rates at about the same amount of time, has more instruments... 2 new instruments, to be exact. Yes! Having those other instruments in there really makes the song feel more "open" - something that's quite essential for any zone with green hills. s()=b
DJ espeed
Hey all (again). I've worked some, but I just couldn't find a way to top that ending part in the previous WIPs and I think this works as a whole piece. Here's a my "promo version", aka WIP #4. Edit: Thanks for all the comments on the works in progress mixes! Edit 2: Toaster, I did say "promo version", so this [WIP IV] is kind of a show off version . I'll get the final one out shortly and have it posted here soon.
toaster1
Logged in on holiday just to say this; That is awesome. One minor thing; the fadeout won't work for the music ingame. But I like it anyways. =D
DJ espeed
Here's the final version of Jade Hilltop! This version does not have the fade-out, so it's suitable for use as BGM now.
OverbounD
Toaster that just looks sweet. You should base all your levels off the Sonic 1 style of game play. That's could be a great Niche for Sonic Genesis as the Sonic 1 fan game. Kinda similar to how I've based Sonic Time Twisted mostly off Sonic CD. Was that the plan all along? DJ the final version of that song sounds great too!
toaster1
Thanks, Overbound! Actually, it was kinda intended kinda like Sonic 2... But when I downloaded the original trilogy for Wiiware (SnK not included sadly, 200 points short =P ) it was always Sonic 1 I wanted to play, and which I completed the most (indeed, the only one in which I could get more than 2 chaos emeralds). Perhaps the only bad part was the lack of spindash and those spike poles in Labyrinth Zone Act 3, which I could not past for the life of me. =P So, I guess a S1 influence has rubbed off in such a manner. =) Also, DJ Espeed, that rules. =D Do you mind creating an act 2 version in the vein of S3nK or would you rather work on your own projects at the moment? =) Also, just noticed that WIP 4 was a promo version. Got it.
DJ espeed
I suppose that'd be a good idea. I can definitely do that for ya. I'm just working to get my other musical projects done. I'll try to see what I can do to make an Act 2 version.
toaster1
Here we go. Actual screenshots of the new, still-unnamed lava zone! You can see a new gimmick I coded in the span of 6 or so hours (sleep time non-inclusive =P ) and which only has 1 minor glitch. Oh wait do you see that chain, on the new gimmick? Yeah. I coded chains that only need 2 objects to run, so they are just graphical. You need to tweak them horrendously for every object you apply them to though. (Also, Delta, the rocks aren't even red/crimson BTW. =P )
Jeffrey_bones
I really like the way your game is looking so far. Can't wait to play the final version. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Oh yeah and I like the stripe tiles they are unique.

DJ espeed
I've been working some on an Act 2 version of Jade Hilltop, and I think it's coming out nicely.
toaster1
All it needs is a repeat or a bit of padding to get it to the 1:20 mark that act 1 has, and it will be a TOTAL WINNER of a song. I mean, it's that already, but it just makes for easy listening when I listen to how awesome it is if I don't have to press the play button again. =P
DJ espeed
Here's the fourth WIP of Jade Hilltop Act 2. This is NOT a promo version. This is a near final version. It weighs in at 3.43MB in size and 1:29 in time.
toaster1
Wonderful! =D Can you change it just a little bit, though? You know that kinda thin textured tune that happens before the music repeats? Could you make that tune a bit shorter please (only repeated once before the song starts again), because at the moment it's a break from the awesome vibrantness the song seems to eminate. =D

AMTSonic
Yeah its actually a really good level design, idk why but I like it! With the crystals, lava, fire and the golden stones... Kudos! =D
DJ espeed
If you want me to make music for Magma Mine, I can definitely do so. Somehow, I'm thinking if you mix with a little Genesis attitude and feel, you can def. have a nice piece for that level. But that's me. I'm sure you'll have a vastly different opinion in contrast to mine.
