I thought this was something new and interesting. Turns out it's older than my account on the site. I remember those swearfilters. I also remember silently disagreeing when they were removed, because I was squirmy about that stuff at the time. Now I just dun give a fuck.

I may or may not be able to help on the graphics side of things, depending mostly on the style you're going for. I still want a Chao Garden-themed SAGE. I would also drop a note for the smartass role, but I've heard most of my humor comes off as dry and tasteless. If you need someone, though~

Not everyone uses the same program, bro.

Having the players make contact with each other, as opposed to simply passing through, is actually an important part of games where the primary focus is beating someone's face into the ground, especially with the speed of gameplay this has. So definitely make the players stop when they collide.

I like the one on the left better Although, having some of the diamond things get cut off looks really unprofessional (just add the full image back to the tiles) and the background may need to be a bit darker to provide BG/FG contrast. Otherwise, I really like it. (maybe I should throw together a little mockup for you to show what I mean)

The only way I could seem to get into the stages was the stage select menu, because the main game button just played the intro and went right back to the main menu. So I guess there's not really any point to skipping the intro!

Definitely. Tails is beginning to get lost in those screenshots, adding any more detail will probably overpower him completely. It kinda seems just a bit overdone to me, but I'm confident it will look better in motion. Otherwise, it looks really nice! Kinda reminds me of Jungle Joyride, actually.
