I wouldn't worry about having blue tiles in two different time zones; Tidal Tempest did it, after all. That's a good-looking mock-up; I don't think I've seen a space-themed water level before (I don't think I'd count Aqua Planet Zone). Actually those are the one part of the level I might get rid of. Its not supposed to me so much a space level as set at night and you will only see that when above water I have different background for underwater. I do want to quick point out that Zenor made the coral I think it looks great in purple and fits nice with the level The piping isn't finished I've been having trouble with that. I'd steal it stright from the game but it needs to be 26 inches in diameter. Right now its an edited launch base zone tube and since that picture I've added a little shading but I'm not sure what else I'm going to do with it yet. If it's a spring stage how about alternating Sonic and Tails style emblems on those spaces? Kind of like the rotating Casino Night Zone emblems just they don't have to rotate.
