I was thinking maybe using this at the pattern for the second one above and adding some support beams to hold up the platform where the black is.

That "sounds" pretty good although a mock-up would help ;)

Also...

It will look good, in a matter of Fact it should add Shadow the hedgehog on it...

Reason why, this "game" look's good! but great game I thought.

Erm... what planet are you from?

Duuude I love the way it's looking. One thing though, the brighter edges of the blocks are way too bright, I'd darken it so it doesn't stick out so much

really love the look of it so far though! It's really different from your usual casino type level, probably because it's early evening and that hasn't been done before.

Great! I'm glad you guys are liking it to be honest I was a bit worried.

Anyway I darkened the lightest blue a bit Rael and changed the flippers a bit. I like the different look of the flippers but I see what you mean so I made the outline 4 pixels instead of 3 and added a blue background around the star, is it better?

Yeah, this stage is looking very nice now. New flipper looks better as well. I realise this might be a bit early to ask this and I'm only doing it because the game appears to be making some brilliant progress, but can we expect any new footage and/or demos soon or is the aim to get something out for SAGE?

I'm pretty confident they'll be a Sage offering of sorts but there are also going to be some changes before that happens.

I'm having a little trouble distinguishing the background from the foreground, It might just be my shoddy eyes, but the colors seem to make the background seem to pop out. Very Cool though, I like it alot other then that. The chaotix grass blends perfectly.

Your right sometimes I find this is the case until the graphics get into the actual game these are just mock ups. If once I put it into the game and it still needs changes I'll do it then.

neon red and green dots around the tube? were those the default colors from launch base or did you do that? those colors clash so badly

Right now it looks like the tube isn't carved into the blocks but rather that it's pasted over it... you have to play with colors so it doesn't stick out so much. for the inside of the tube use darker blues instead of blacks and grays, I think. Consider the fact that you're pulling this object from a bright day time level. And get rid of the green/red.

I really like the way things are looking besides that though, the flipper fits so well now.

Another way to fix the issue with the "Paste" is to make the blocks have an "edge" or shape around the tube, if you get my mean.

We're all getting a little obsessed with the screenshot thread again. So I thought I'd post this small video the shows off the new effect I've created for the time travel. The video shows off a bit on the unfinished water level too. Thanks to Torigara for the effect and Chimpo from Retro Sonic for the idea. And as always LarkSS and his kick ass music.
