SonicProject Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 Introducing Surge the Cheetah. The sprite was made from scratch based off of Sonic from Sonic 2. I plan to add a frame of animation a each day. Almost halfway there on the walking. Concept artwork for the sprite is linked below. Zal Posted January 3, 2007 Report Share Posted January 3, 2007 It's alright, except when you changed the shoe colour it still looks almost the same as before. Try a different colour all together or try a lighter yellow again. Also it seems to have a tiny lack of shading. Other than that it's alright. SonicProject Posted January 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2007 To my knowledge there isn't a lighter yellow in Sonic 2 and to be honest bright yellows disgust me to begin with. I apologize if it's difficult to distinguish the shoes from his fur but I'm not really intent on changing the shoe colors. I understand too that there appears to be a lack of shading. I'm not very good at shading in other styles and as I make each frame, I hope I get better at it.
