Slingerland
TITLE CARDS! This contest should be simple enough and self-explanatory. I'll explain anyhow. Create a custom Sonic the Hedgehog title card with the following specs: 320x240 resolution Can be sprited or made in Photoshop (like Mecha Madness' title cards). There are really no limits to what medium you use. Animation, GIF/MMF or GM file, is optional, but it will probably "wow" more people The text for everybody's title card will be "Emerald Hill" and the act will be "Act 1." YOU CAN MAKE MORE THAN ONE!! OMG MULTIPLE ENTRIES!!! This contest will end in 2 weeks (March 19th). Judging will be done by popular vote, because judges never do their work. Prize is mad rep and you get rep just for participating. Easy contest here, people. Participate.
DimensionWarped
Sounds fun. I'm not committing myself to it since if I do, I probably won't get anything done. If I get around to it...
Sockman
What format will this be in? Should we make a JPEG (or GIF if it's animated) or put it in some sort of Click format?
DimensionWarped
I imagine it either should be in png format or some kind of method for it to be animated that isn't gif (video, mmf file, animated png, whatever). Only an asshole would submit a sprite in jpg format and gif is freakin' limited.

Guest Shadix
It's cool if I just use the title card from my fangame, right? In which case I do believe Streak would win this competition hands down. (of course, he'd probably win either way >.>.) I did this already, just gotta update it from last competition. Guest Shadix
don't worry, I have to now anyways, skimmed over the 320x240 rule.
Sockman
Is the inclusion of "Act 1" optional? Since they really removed the whole "Act" thing in the 3D Sonic games, and I might want to go with something more along that newer style (complete with a silly mission descriptor). Epon
So Flash is an option?
DimensionWarped
Certainly. It isn't as though flash can't be exported frame by frame into a series of snapshots that forms a sprite.

No. Act 1 goes in your title card. Lol I didn't know my name was included in this topic. xD Steak gets off on the mentioning of his name.
Epon
I was asking if the submission could just be a SWF file because sometimes I fucking want to kill MMF 1 or 2 with certain effects... not to mention the fact that you could import them into your games anyway
