Aaron C-T
Jaguarstrike: Just say "Who buys games?" and leave it at that. We aren't stupid, we'll understand what you're saying, and then you can't get blamed for anything. SonicXtreme & Khorney: Stop, and stop now. Khorney
erm...that was like months ago...but ok =P anyway, saw the videos on sonic cult, how are you going todo the handling for SS? cos the banshee moves like a trolley with three wheels
SonicXtreme
After many attempts to sort out the new animations for the biped , the1 still has not fixed it correctly , so we are waitting , some of the animations just need swapping with each other , but this is the other half of the Super Sonic Transformation Vidcast i posted , it shows Super/Hyper Sonic working ingame how it should do , Super / Hyper transformation form is a early alpha atm , so its not really good quality , its just to test some animations. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_p_gQl6-KM As for the handeling , it just needs to be tweeked loads , and yes those are the S360 anims , they are copyed frame for frame , exactly how they are. Jsonic
That is awsome!!! I've been watching this project. it seems incredible how you guys are making such an incredible change to the way the game looks and feels. nice work. keep it up. BTW: I may be able to help with textures and or texture recreation, I have done some biped riging, animation, and uv mapping, however I'm not very good at it. I'm also good with Pain Shop Pro 8. you can PM me if you want more info. but for now I'll get back on topic. Ummm, back on topic...
sayi50
it still looks awesome but i'd like yo ask something is the game has homing attack and spindash?
Klonk Pulse
Last video looks good, but there was not so many elements of the game. The gameplay of Silver the hedgehog in SNG looks cool, but wtf its doing in THIS video? Video of Sonic Online!
ila
You should've seen the advertisements this guy used to use... nothing but photoshoped images with text and sonic heroes graphics.
DimensionWarped
Anyone else here think SH models are really starting to show their age?
VectorSatyr
IIRC, those aren't the SH models - they're custom made based off of Sonic NextGen.
SupaChao
Built from Sonic Heroes models.
DimensionWarped
I think I've worked with the Sonic Heroes models enough to know the difference between a slight vertex edit on the legs and a whole new model.

Slingerland
Anyone else here think SH models are really starting to show their age? They showed their age immediately...like right when Heroes was released.
Klonk Pulse
Anyone else here think SH models are really starting to show their age? I Think so. But soon we will see Sonic Riders on PC ! SonicXtreme, do you will use the models and textures of SR ?
Khorney
well, now the SA2:B models have been ripped, everyone can use those =D

Aki-at
Those are even older *face clasp* Yet strangely...they look far superior! At least they don't look like plastic toys in Sonic Adventure 2!
Khorney
and they have textures, which is always nice >_<
SupaChao
Whoever can't texture Sonic Heroes models, doesn't deserve to have them anyway. O_o Although the SA2B models have been ripped, the user correcting the normals and polygons is not doing it very correctly, so their not exactly complete. None the less, those models are far better than any model after their release. IMO: SR models blow.
DimensionWarped
I'm hoping the Next Gen models are cracked soon... though I wouldn't use them aside for placeholder art.
Aaron C-T
If I had the abilities to make a 3D game I'd be all over the Sonic Riders models. Not only are they "newer" than both the SA2 and SH ones, they have a vastly different and stylized appearance. Another thing is that there are quite a few characters to choose from. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Dr. Robotnik, Shadow, Rouge, and Amy. ::shrug?::
Flare
I like the SA2 models over the SH, its just SH models don't look amazing, they look plastic, SA2 have a more realistic feel than the SH. I wonder what the SH models would look like with the SA2 textures.
Aaron C-T
Isn't it possible to take the plastic-ness of? I'm not into game development or anything, but I would imagine you could make a simple texture yourself, right? Isn't the glossiness of SH simply in the settings of the materials of that specific character? Can't you define you're own when you bring the model into it's new engine? Last time I looked at the SH models there were no textures or anything applied. >.>
