Crumb brought us Fritz the Cat and Mr. Supernatural back in the 60s... if not the late 50s... though admitedly, Fritz the Cat is nothing compared to what you see on the internet today... and it was more of a political satire than a grotesque pornographic thing. At that moment, 5 brazilian guys totally decked him and beat him up. Anyways...onto something slightly on topic: I was at a comic store today looking at Sonic comics...man...it really phails these days...the Sonic X ones look like the lame comics you see in Disney Adventures... and the original series has gotten really wierd in its plot and artstyle and stuff...I wish the art was done soley by Spaz, and that the story was...I dunno...it seems too fan-fic to me... I'm guessing you meant Sonic comic books. Something like Agent X or Spawn I really wouldn't call kiddy...and Deadpool, cant forget Deadpool! And the plot of the new game would eventually end up with Dr.Eggman once again getting up stage by the new evil monsters and joining forces with Sonic who advises all three hedgehogs that they should fuse into one ultimate being capable of saving the world or something crappy like that. And SEGA reveal that all three are in fact brothers and replace Tails and Knuckles. The focus of the story isn't always the protagonist you know. I've seen a number of books with the antagonist being the main character (don't even ask me how that works...) and the protagonist being relatively minor... Regardless, from what I see in this game... Silver - gravity gun. His entire purpose is to show off how badass the Havok engine is. Shadow - fangirl/boy service. Also possibly the driving force to either the plot or a subplot. Sonic - protagonist who has some use in the story for a change... which is quite different from Sonic Heroes and Shadow... where he was just sorta... there.
