ila
Why? The original topic is gone in the oblivion known as "no longer on first page" so its okay to bring it up again.

Aaron C-T
I wonder why they're bothering with the GBA. It's practically dead. I'd of just released it for the DS.
Pseudo Da Hedgehog
Maybe ST felt they needed to give a good send-off for the GBA, might as well be the first genesis sonic game. Though im wondering what the music will sound like, the remixed tunes you got in sonic advance were a little 'Tinny'.
xhedgehogx
I hope they re-release sonic 2 and 3 for ds in 3d or something. Something similar to sonic rush.
1LT Worm
I wonder why they're bothering with the GBA. It's practically dead. I'd of just released it for the DS. They were thinking about me. They know I still have a GBASP and no job. =P Besides, the DS can play it anyway. This way, they cover all the bases.
Rael0505
I hope they re-release sonic 2 and 3 for ds in 3d or something. Something similar to sonic rush. No. That would kill it.
Slingerland
It would. Don't you guys think they can fit more than one Sonic game on a cartridge? They should just go ahead and make "Sonic Mega Collection: The Portable Version!"
Eraysor
I would definitely buy a SMC portable. This game seems a little pointless. Hope it's at a budget price.
rtsmarty
No. That would kill it. Buffing the graphics and making it 3D and stuff yes. But rereleasing hell no. I'd totally re-buy Sonic 3 if it were portable.
Rael0505
Of course rereleasing it wouldn't kill it. I just don't want it to be drastically changed.
DimensionWarped
I wouldn't mind a graphical update of the old games at all. Granted, I wouldn't really want the Sonic Rush style... but if they just upped the resolution, used larger sprites with more colors, and that kind of stuff, I'd be happy. sonic101
Id rather then stop doing ports and get on to original games. I own the 2 different versions of mega collect, the sonic3 and knucles pc collection, sonic jam and all the other re-release compilations, you can only beat the same game so many times before it looses its effect on you. i dont need another copy of sonic 1 personally i already have about 6 of them. and sonic rush wasnt that big fo r me, it felt like sonic advanced with a slight graphic improvement. it still had the same "too cramped together" level design where in it had little gimmics and most of it was holding in a direction for a while, hit a spring and it would move you in the other. I beat the game but I wouldnt rank it up there as a 10/10 more like a 7.5 outta 10. I just want something new and not full of the rerelease/rehash feeling. RidersDX
I have already heard of this. I'm gonna get it. They said they'd have some changes and I'd like to see them.
Slingerland
Yeah, spin-dash and save state. Yay? Don't I own Sonic Jam for these features? If they kept the Sonic 1 formula, but made the graphics, say "advanced" for example, I might consider buying it.
Andrew
I don't see why SEGA shouldn't just do a New Super Mario Brothers on Sonic 3 and Knuckles. It would be most excellent. Oh but no. The Sonic fans wouldn't enjoy it because direct ports are much more exciting. SEGA is living in the past. They NEED to stop porting the same games from FIFTEEN YEARS AGO over and over to the new systems. We need innovation.
