Hyper Emerson
Beautiful. That reminds me of Descent. (Sigh, haven't played that in about a decade...) @other people 2 votes to left, then? Ok.
luksamuk
@oddwarg What is it exactly? Seems sweet.
Sslaxx
Definitely Descent-like, though with some interesting shading going on there.
oddwarg
@oddwarg What is it exactly? It's a Descent clone so you guys are absoutely right about that part. I made it during the past few days for a minigame compilation collaboration project I'm doing with a friend. It only has 1 level since it's more of a tech demo than anything else. Half of the point of making it was to test my skill. It is made with Game Maker though, so I had to do some... interesting things to get good performance. Kessler12
I got bored, so I recolored a level for the level collab. Recolor A - Aiming for a slow much harder yet pitless Hydrocity Recolor B - Aiming for a cold, icy Hydrocity Should I use another palette? And also I just found a level from when I was a learning to hack sonic 1 stages. I killed it cause I saw another game with the same name. I started porting it to mmf to see how it looks. Maple Hill Zone
sonicyoda
Really like the grey Hydrocity re-colour. I assume you're going to add a backdrop as well? Maple Hill looks like it might be a fun little stage but I'd try and change it up a little better. Maybe an interesting backdrop could help... Looking forward to the collab. Something like this should have come out of SFGHQ ages ago!
Chaos Rush
I had this awesome idea of a fangame, but making level art is really boring, so progress has been ridiculously slow... And here's some more screenshots: http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/8144/28353361.png http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/3417/42627427.png http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/4567/81183270.png http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/2361/40697692.png
Asuma
I'll make a proper video later. By the way MC, hope you mind me borrowing your idea, if you don't like, I'll remove it, although, I didn't program it yet.
Strife
And here's some more screenshots:http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/8144/28353361.png http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/3417/42627427.png http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/4567/81183270.png http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/2361/40697692.png Liking the background rocks. =D Though, I would recommend fading them a little bit so they blend in with the blue background more. At the moment, the contrast feels too strong for a background later. Also, I think a layer of shrubbery/plants in the background, in front of the rocks, would do wonders. Not sure if it should be behind or in front of the water layer, though...
LakeFeperd
I started to remake the hilltop zone from scratch And here are the results Above the clouds Below the clouds
sonicyoda
The 'above the clouds' screenshot is beautiful. Still not keen on the bright blue haze in the last screen. Make it more transparent.
Amesuki
8-Bit Sonic Colors anyone? Actually works rather well and still gives a presence of GG's limitations.

Hyper Emerson
What. When i looked at the picture, the first thing that came to mind was the "Yeth" project from the Sonic Retro forums. What.
luksamuk
@LakeFeperd: I love your background effects. @Amesuki: Awesome. I suppose you got this idea when your heard the Game Land ssoundtrack, right? I'd love to play what you got here. @oddwarg: Izzat inspired on Sonic Spinball's first special stage? That rocks. oddwarg
@LakeFeperd: I also love your background effects. @oddwarg: Izzat inspired on Sonic Spinball's first special stage? That rocks. Yes, your objective is to knock his teeth out while the background flashes violently.

luksamuk
Hidden Palace for Level Colab, still WIP: (notice how perfect it is. I'm using EVERY 128x128 tiles I've ripped on Tileset Project for this level.) And... All I can tell is that "this is not sparta". Also, don't say "WTF". sonicyoda
When you do the pipe in Hidden Palace, make it like the pipes in Chemical Plant where there's a set path and not like the Hidden Palace in Sonic 2 Beta where Sonic just sticks to one side. BlazeHedgehog
Too much repetition. The boxes themselves are too small. The red rails need at least one color of shadowing.
