@oddwarg What is it exactly?

It's a Descent clone so you guys are absoutely right about that part. I made it during the past few days for a minigame compilation collaboration project I'm doing with a friend. It only has 1 level since it's more of a tech demo than anything else.

Half of the point of making it was to test my skill. It is made with Game Maker though, so I had to do some... interesting things to get good performance.

I got bored, so I recolored a level for the level collab.

Recolor A - Aiming for a slow much harder yet pitless Hydrocity

Recolor B - Aiming for a cold, icy Hydrocity

Should I use another palette?

And also I just found a level from when I was a learning to hack sonic 1 stages. I killed it cause I saw another game with the same name. I started porting it to mmf to see how it looks.

Really like the grey Hydrocity re-colour. I assume you're going to add a backdrop as well?

Maple Hill looks like it might be a fun little stage but I'd try and change it up a little better. Maybe an interesting backdrop could help...

Looking forward to the collab. Something like this should have come out of SFGHQ ages ago!

I had this awesome idea of a fangame, but making level art is really boring, so progress has been ridiculously slow...

Liking the background rocks. =D Though, I would recommend fading them a little bit so they blend in with the blue background more. At the moment, the contrast feels too strong for a background later.

Also, I think a layer of shrubbery/plants in the background, in front of the rocks, would do wonders. ^_^ Not sure if it should be behind or in front of the water layer, though...
