The Taxman
The easiest way is to attack when the boss has just moved both of it's arms to the ceiling pole. If you're pro, you can use a spindash
Ashes Darkmare
this is awesome, this made me happy, both Sonic XG and Retro Sonic made my day, Taxman your the master! that for sure! DimensionWarped
Not a lot of bosses in the original games needed you to take advantage of that, though. ;P That being said, I know it's possible to damage this boss without taking damage yourself - it's just very tricky, it seems. Metropolis Zone. If you didn't take advantage of it, you were about as likely to beat it as this guy.
VectorSatyr
OBJECTION! Metropolis Zone's boss was one of the last bosses before the final boss in Sonic the Hedgehog 2...
Slingerland
Metropolis Zone was the last full zone in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 before the final boss... And that solidifies your argument, how?
VectorSatyr
Isn't Egg Garden one of the first zones of Sonic Retro? Do we need a boss that hard in the first zone?
Slingerland
His choice. It's not that hard, btw. I can knock it out in about 20 seconds. Using temporary invincibility or being really good and timely with a spindash and a jump does the trick nicely. Do all of our games have to follow suit to typical Sonic cliches? Midiman
Do all of our games have to follow suit to typical Sonic cliches? And with the end of SAGE, I propose Prop 70: All games have to have the same goal, the same storyline, but be allowed to have completely same graphics, although if they are any different from the more graphical leader, they must be critisized while the most graphical one can be as shitty as heck, but still be the best. wait no that's just sage sorry
1LT Worm
How 'bout Prop 71? "Read the entire fucking thread before replying." Because it would have eliminated some relatively brain-dead replies in the thread. Anyhoo, the Mac version is coming soon, and I still have a boner. BlazeHedgehog
Point: Considered gamepad support on the PC, Taxman?
The Taxman
Yep, gamepad support and custom keys have been planned for aggeeesss. I just keep getting distracted from doing it. It's funny, because it'll only take me a day to do it. EDIT: I should also mention I didn't actually get a gamepad until about a month ago too, that's a fairly big factor too XD I'll make sure it's there next time
