Delta Hedgehog
Look too plasticky and bland. I prefer the old ones. I bet it's becuse of the pallette. It's really bright.
OverbounD
I'm just gonna quote myself. I really think you were headed in the right direction when you did this one:[qimg]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5505419/Untitled.png[/qimg] It could be slightly darker. Other than that it looks great. Delta Hedgehog
HORRAY! BTW, if anyone knows a guy who can do animations, tell me. I'd be pretty freaking cool if EOD had a cool opening sequence kinda like how Nexus did. EDIT: Finished the steepest slope that needed a shadow. SonicFan2010
All that for Shimmering Hill Zone?
Delta Hedgehog
Yep. And now that the grass shadow is finished, I may rest.
Delta Hedgehog
So SuperBliz needed the angles to be fixed since I made the new angels from scratch. So I took the angles from the Previous sheet, and added a shadow.
BlazefireLP
I like the shadow. Good work. My only complain about that sheet is how odd the how the steep sloped grass looks on the far right. I guess their isn't much you can do about that though. Delta Hedgehog
I used the skewing tool in MS Paint for the slopes. Yeah, some of them look weird, but It matches up with the collision blocks, so I really can't complain.
Delta Hedgehog
Progress is sweet. Again, they have potential, I'm still thinking about it.
snow toilet
I'm not sure about that eye color. In the third sprite his eye looks weird compared to the others.
Delta Hedgehog
They eye color is temporary. 9 times out of 10 I'm gonna change it.
Caleb
I see you got inspiration from the 32x Sonic sprites. They look good. C:
Delta Hedgehog
The base sprites are the Chaotix sprites. I just took various pieces from the exsisting SEOD sprites, and changed some shit.
BlazefireLP
Certainly a lot better than the other one.
Delta Hedgehog
I might remake the sprites using these, but..... 1. Time. The SAGE demo submission deadline is in 5 days. Unless I can somehow remake the Sonic sprites, fix the errors, and change the shading on all of them, they might now make it. 2. Difficulty. This is my first attempt at actual 32x shading, and it is HARD AS FUCK do to the massive amount of detail put into them. 3. Animations. The sheet I found of the Sonic 32x sprites is lacking many poses including the death pose, edge teetering pose, falling animation, and pushing animations just to name a few. This is a problem. If someone happens to have rips of the many various other poses, then all 3 problems are knocked out.
BlazefireLP
If you're going to do the sprites AGAIN do it quickly but don't do it so quality lacks because of being rushed. Take some of your time but at a decent enough pace given the time left.
Delta Hedgehog
Sound good to me. I'll try give it my all.
Delta Hedgehog
This is what happens when I can't sleep. It's like 12:26 AM over here in Delaware. Could use some fixes here and there with the shading (Like Usual) but they look pretty good regardless.
StealthyMC
Sadly, no video for this update. Just a couple of updates: New shadows, fun loop section. Added sand.
BlazefireLP
Make the sand look more yellow and I think it'll look much nicer.
