  1. That looks really neat and all but the only thing I'm having trouble seeing is the mustache pieces on that Dr. Eggman thing. I can tell it's a mustache but it doesn't really look all that convincing. Looks too long and looks as if it belongs to the Klonoa character. By the way, I like that indie games website a lot.
  2. If you decide to add the plants back at the bottom you should make a few behind them but shaded in to make it seem like the plants are surrounding the tree. You should even consider putting a bit of a shadow around the sand where the plants and the sand meet.
  3. This looks fantastic, sir. I would ask for you to change the trunk but I'm sure you like the Ristar one. Maybe custom? Also, maybe try a tiny bit of shade on the top two coconuts.
  4. Very impressive, Overbound. It's very 32X-y. A problem I see though is the tile set to the left doesn't seem to have much of a curve to it. It looks rather flat. Something else I've noticed is Metal doesn't seem to have a hand but it may be blending in too much with the trunk of the tree. Looks really nice all in all and I'm excited for it.
  5. This game really makes me want to listen to black metal and grindcore again. Plus it's fucking scary and I like it.
  6. @Lake. That first shot makes me think that the Emerald Hill bushes are to be neons. That would be the tits.
  7. The one to the left because it looks more terrifying. Think of it like a Xenomorph. Their lack of eyes made it even more frightening of a creature. As far as your guy goes, minus the pupils and it becomes a bit on the scary side which is good.
  8. I think the trilogy name not being present may have something to do with maybe they're counting Doom 3's expansion as a title in the series or the fact that the "3" in the name is not the way it was in the 2005 versions.
  9. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/06/22/id-software-talks-doom-3-bfg-edition-on-ps3/ http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/19/doom-3-bfg-edition-bringing-hellspawn-to-retail-on-oct-16-in/ Oh my god! A prayer has been heard. I enjoyed the shit out of Doom 3 as well as it's pixelated predecessors. It's great to hear that this will mark the first time Doom/Ultimate Doom and Doom II will be hitting the Playstation 3. This will also mark the first time I will be able to try RoE. Me personally, I found Doom 3 to be one of the best games on the Xbox right next to the Conker's Bad Fur Day remake and Halo 2 (the only title in the series I enjoyed). All this might not sound like groovy news to you but to me this is gold mainly because with the exception of the Alien/AvP series, Doom and it's sequels are the only FPS I find favorable.
  10. Problems I have. The palm tree leaves look like flat, paper with a bunch of color in them and don't match the shading style on the trunk, which is from what I see another piece from Ristar. With the exception of the Chaotix Caterkiller no enemy fits the zone theme at all. Nothing in the city zone matches and looks cheaply put together. The Planet Freon tile set, again. The rock backgrounds for the first two zones look way too similar. The rock background for the desert looks all weird with its design just cutting off into blank color. Too many zone names have the letter "S". The level themes themselves are too cliche. Sorry... Things I don't have a problem with. Tropical Island as the first level. To me it's all good. The HUD. I have no problem with it.
  11. A few days ago I went up to my local record exchange store and found a Blu-ray copy of Street Kings for 5 bucks. I don't really remember hearing about a theatrical release but hey. The whole thing really made me think of Brooklyn's Finest in some odd way. All in all the only problem I had with it was the Game's piece was not very convincing compared to his story telling in his albums. (Although it was funny to see him put some kind of malt liquor in his cereal.) That's all, I'm not really good at reviewing movies.
  12. Oh my a Sonic the Hedgehog-ish T-800. Your the man.
  13. The Motobug looks tits. I really like the Windmill Isle-ish background too.
  14. Making it a robot like enemy would be tits.
  15. Wow, I thought this was a new game. When I came around this must have just disappeared. All those shots look gorgeous, though. I'm excited about Sparkling Seaside's background.
