The age of Samurai, Shoguns and the echoes of steel against steel has come once again. Will you emerge victorious, the cleaved bodies of those who dared to oppose you left behind in your wake? Or will your life gush out from the hole in your neck, opened wide by your rival's blade? We'll soon find out, this Shodown is about to start! If you're interested in participating, please respond in this thread. Unlike the NHL tournament, you do not have to announce what characters you will choose. In fact, you may choose a different selection of characters in every match if you choose to do so, so long as the selection complies with the tournament's rules, which are listed below. AWARDS FOR THIS TOURNAMENT: Participation: +3 reputation Each win: +1 reputation SHOGUN (tournament winner): +10 reputation, plus a 64x64 pixel Shogun badge to display in your sig! These incentives are to encourage participation! So play and gain reputation! RULES FOR THIS TOURNAMENT: NOTE 1: The game/room's starter is PLAYER 1 NOTE 2: Rules are subject to change before start of tournament *Each match is played with a Shodown battle. This prevents players from over using one particular character and requires mastery of at least 5 separate characters for best results. Shodown mode is where each player chooses 5 characters each and then fight it out team battle style. *Charlotte is NOT to be used in this tournament. She is obscenely over powered, anyone who's played this game knows this. NO exceptions, NO argument. *Amakusu is NOT to be used in this tournament.
