This project is not a fan game really. It's more of a mod. Despite that fact, it's fucking great. This cool little project gets the official "PC0 says this shit is pretty cool" seal. You should definitely check it out. If you play Minecraft? Download it. Don't play MC or don't play it anymore? Watch some of their better youtube videos instead. Just seeing some of the recreations of shit like Labyrinth Zone etc. that they've done is mind blowingly cool as all hell. Worth looking at merely for the novelty value if nothing else.

I know you're ESL and from Uruguay and all, but I literally do not understand half your post. Any chance you can reiterate it or make it a bit more comprehensible? I even went through it to try and fix it but your whole post seems to contradict itself. Is DMC on the MT Framework or the Unreal Engine? I know it's hard cause your from a different nation, but any help with your post clarity would be a HUGE help in understanding you. I'm sorry I'm not able to make it out, despite you being ESL and putting in a legit effort, but my understanding of the first half of your post is a guess at best.

The difference is that neither of those two versions of the handheld had games that were solely exclusive. The big issue here is that I paid full price for a 3DS and then for a 3DS XL, only to find out that I might need to buy another? WTF did I upgrade to the XL for if I was just gonna get fucked in the ass for it less than a year later? Seriously, wtf Nintendo.

I -just- upgraded to an XL less than a year ago, what kind of horse shit is this? I can't be expected to buy a new fucking handheld every year that's almost but not quite like the last one I had. Nintendo should've held off on this, it's just way too soon, the 3DS isn't an old enough market for it yet.

Clearly the actually correct solution to this problem isn't math, but the application of more liquor. Much, much more liquor. That said, Retro's really impressive for some stuff like this. They've got a lot of info on standard Sonic The Hedgehog physics from the original games, so be sure to check them out often for numerical data and stuff like that on the original games often. They really are amazing when it comes to documentation of the classics. Can anyone think of another site that even comes close? I can't. Still needs more booze though.

Perhaps spice the thread up with cool zone ideas based on all this to go with? Here's a few: Lost Babylon - Half sunken ancient tower jutting out of the sea that Sonic must sale to the top of. Within are all sorts of ancient and forbidden threats, techno-mummies, shit like that. Meteortech Rush - Meteors constantly crash down to the surface. Sonic must jump onto the falling meteors and then to the one above that quickly and relentlessly to get to the end of the stage. Stay still too long and he crashes to the grond. Digital Highway - Sonic finds a machine that lets him traverse long distances by moving through cyberspace, Tron style. Digital Highway is a cyber race where Sonic avoids computer viruses, bad clusters and malware "bots", while leaping over firewalls and power surges. Cosmic Volcano - Sonic traverses a small volcanic planet split in half by a massive meteorite. Because the planet is partially destroyed, it's "falling" through space, spinning in the deep void. Sonic must traverse the planet, avoiding lava dangers while the level slowly spins. He must get to a ship at the end before the planet falls into a black hole.

I was a huge Sonic fan growing up. For many a year. Then I bought Sonic Heroes on launch for PS2. That changed everything for me. Literally killed the entire franchise for me in one fell swoop. Snapped the disc in half and haven't paid money for a Sonic game ever since. Do I still like Sonic? Sometimes. I liked Sonic Rush, etc., but I didn't pay for it. I don't have expectations of Sonic games anymore. No, actually, to be more specific, I expect them to suck, really, really, badly. I'm surprised when a good one actually does come out, yet I find I am no longer thrilled by the prospect. I no longer have desire to do stuff like buy Sonic merchandise or any shit like that either. I like classic Sonic games and games that have a similar feel and formula. But as far as love for the character goes? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some Sonic stuff from time to time, but much like Taz here, you give me a choice of a Batman comic or a Sonic comic, I'm going to pick Batman over Sonic. The character just isn't what he used to be for me. Sorry, it's true and it's Sonic's fucking fault for being in such a shitty game that cost me 60 bucks. I felt cheated, I felt ripped off, I felt completely screwed. PS2 SH was so bad and so buggy that it was literally unplayable. I could beat SA/SA2 with my eyes closed, full S ranks all around and zero deaths with no problems. SH I couldn't get past the first level for a good while because if Sonic wasn't just falling through the floor while I was running, every other jump the camera would spin around and fill my screen with the bottom of Sonic's shoe. The game was so bad it permanently crippled the Sonic fan inside of me. Forever. There's no going back after feeling betrayed like that. It is what it is, what can I say?

Step 1: Decide how you're going to make your game. MMF? Game Maker? C? MUGEN? Step 2: Look up tutorials on SFGHQ and the like, check out some engines and stuff. Step 3: Come back when you have more specific questions. Fact is, what your asking is too broad in of itself to really give a full explanation. Too many possibilities that are totally different. It's more that it stole time slots from other really good shows. Completely cock blocking them from being successful because rather than let the show build a fan base, constant shifting of time slots completely obliterated any chance for a fan base of sizable quantity to develop. All too often, these time slots were filled by sub-par shows, in particular Johnny Quest. As a result, the show has garnered much hate from fans of these other shows as it was seen as a "time slot thief" that ruined perfectly amazing shows from having a chance to get off the ground.

I made this username in the mid 90s well before Sonic Adventure came out. I used a few different ones back then, but this one somehow ended up becoming prominent. Chaos is the opposite of Perfection and I was into Megaman at the time, thus the Zero at the end. Like straight up hurhurfancharacter Zero super mode. Hey, I was like, 10 or 11 or some shit back then, what can I say? Imagine my surprise when there's a Chaos 0 and a Perfect Chaos in a srs Sonic game a few years later. Odd coincidence, but at that point I'd already reached a level of being known enough that there was no value in changing my username, especially since most people knew me as PC0 anyway. Thus, it's stayed that way for almost two decades now.
