shadowgoten
But guys..it's $50 for a new game..that hasn't been the standard for years.
Guest Shadix
Well, think of it this way, it used to be more... I remember back when new genesis carts were 70 bucks a pop. 50 bucks has been standard for like ever now. :\

Blyde
That's awesome. I should pick it up soon. You like it?
Koray
Yah man its actually really enjoyable. It's fun to run around finding the elebits and getting new abilites and stuff. But I can see myself getting bored with it, because the gameplay does get a bit repetitive. We shall see, still only a few hours with it.
shadowgoten
so how'd you score such an early copy you bastard?
ila
Scatta: I'd call in Meh but I like you too much to do so. And elebits sounds like its fun, too bad I'm a little short on funds since I just reserved my copy of WarioWare.
Koray
The GameStop at Arundel Mills in Maryland is stupid and had 2 copies on the Wii shelves. I didn't ask questions, and they didn't hesitate to ring me up.
Serephim
Elebits looks fun only because you get to play with the Physics like you could in Half Life 2. Id buy it just to stack things on top of eachother and throw a freezer through it while screaming like vegeta. So, are the physics stright? I diddnt know the Wii could run a game where 80% of it is "Havoked"ed' up.
Eraysor
I demand more Miis! Add me to your friends lists when you get the chance (thanks Blyde!) In other news, the actual main game in Super Monkey Ball is pretty rubbish, but the minigames are so very fun. I'm very annoyed Trauma Centre hasn't been brought to the UK though. Slingerland
In other news, the actual main game in Super Monkey Ball is pretty rubbish, but the minigames are so very fun. I think the opposite. I think the party games are sh*t. Luckily, I just rented it, so I'm not going to be too angry at it.
Eraysor
I guess it depends how many people you have playing. Plus, there's a hell of a lot of variety in there what with there being 50 games.

Plus, there's a hell of a lot of variety in there what with there being 50 games. Yeah...the diversity is wide, but the quality is WILDLY inconsistent. Monkey Fencing? Trombone? Gimme a break *jerk off motion*. Not to mention the Monkey Sports that made the games awesome before are inferior to their Wii Sports counterparts. Aaron C-T
So, are the physics stright? I diddnt know the Wii could run a game where 80% of it is "Havoked"ed' up. Lol? Xbox>GameCube>Playstation2 This "Wii is nonpowerful" thing is ridiculous. If the Playstation 2 can run the same can run games using the Havok engine, why wouldn't the Wii be able to? Not only is the PS2 a last generation system but it was inferior, from a technological standpoint, to the GameCube, which some have called the Wii and upgrade of. Why then, would the Wii not be able to do this?

Koray
Worm, can you tell us if this says something along the lines of "These are all fan renderings and not official at all"
Pheonix Gamma
They probably are fake, but interesting to look at nonetheless. The wierd GC controller would be kinda stupid to sell if the originals still work. The star one is plain dumb (maybe it's a WIN button?), and I dunno about the one on the top right. Looks like it twists or something. Could be used for some interesting minigames (WarioWare just came to mind.) Though I think it'd be interesting to see any possible 3rd party wiimotes or something, but I would assume that steps on a couple of patents or something. tentril
The wierd GC controller would be kinda stupid to sell if the originals still work. How does that work exactly? They sell the Classic controller and that is more or less a new version of the GC controller.

I thought the classic controller can't play GC games, and that you need a GC controller to play them.
wesker
So they released the WiiPlay/Wii remote package for America or is that still for Europe? EDIT: Buh pre-order.
Koray
SG, make sure your router is set to mixed b/g rather than just g. The Wii is a 802.11b device, so it needs it. Also, set the channel to something like 6 or 7. Also, make sure that, if you have a router based firewall, that it is set to allow the Wii's MAC. You can also try reseting the router to factory defaults and resetting everything up. That worked for me. If all else fails, try a manual setup http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/connectingOnline.jsp?entryId=manualSetup You cannot use the Classic controller for GC games. You can however, use a wavebird. Like me. Edit: Oops, double post. Too lazy to edit.
