  1. oh good! We can take as long as we like then. (Happy birthday again GD!)
  2. ila, I saw a lot of PSYs this Halloween. Also saw a lot of Eleventh Doctors. Speaking of which, I went as the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who:
  3. Oh hey! Thanks guys! I don't hang around here often, but I appreciate the sentiment. I've been really busy so I haven't worked on Emerald Ties in forever...actually haven't even talked to the team...sorry guys >_> I'm still alive.
  4. What the hey, why not. ps no more unless you're ristar or rael
  5. I know it was Ristar's birthday, but... ps the lucky buddha beer bottles are awesome
  6. There's all sorts of time wankery going on. Is it still your birthday? Have a great one! You're fantastically talented, you know that.
  7. I don't mean to be accusatory, but do you have permission to use this background? http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=13925.0
  8. I don't know why, but I felt like more thoroughly decoding that. Still some holes. The space bar is spotty and the letters ORTUW are missing.
  9. Hello SFGHQ. I am here to toot Ristar's horn. The bottom line is: Worth it. Seriously, his work is fantastic. If you're really set on your project, go ask him for some tunes. I've been listening to a new piece of his for a while, and it is beautifully composed and the atmosphere is spot-on. Hell, you don't even need to take my word for it - check out his Vibedeck and sample some pickings. I am 100% sure that my other team members agree with me that Ristar is a professional presence and his work is top-notch. The guy has to make a living, you know, so throw him some bones!
  10. Also saw 21 Jump Street. I went in with fairly low expectations and walked out hugely satisfied. It's pretty damn funny - I do, however, regret watching it at a place where tickets are $13.50 a pop. !#^@ Also, it's not a movie, but I've been watching the BBC series Sherlock. Each episode is an hour and a half, so they're easily movie length. It's an incredibly solid modernized adaptation of Sherlock Holmes. Also, the cinematography is excellent. Check it out.
  11. This is on someone's Dropbox account. It's the official OST - and it's actually 3 discs. Enjoy.
  12. Thank you guys for the feedback! I've made note of everyone's suggestions and will definitely work on the points you've mentioned. Couple of things: - I've been so used to looking at that running frame that I never really noticed the wide face. I will fix that - there's still improvements to be made on the sheet as a whole! As for the skin, no one has ever noted a problem with it, but I may desaturate it anyway. - I cranked out the Super Sonic title image far too quickly; I wanted to see how it'd look. I'm glad you brought that up because a fresh perspective is invaluable. While I intend to keep it a little closer to the originals (that is, no antialiasing), I'm also going to up the color count a little to smoothen out the whole thing in general. I am, unfortunately, really busy nowadays, but I will finally not be as busy after this week. Sounds like the same excuse I've been telling the other guys for the last couple of weeks, but the end of this week will be a much-needed breather for me. And then it'll be an intense burst of ET work. I should also update our banner sigs. Eventually.
  13. I've caught Doctor Who before, it's a fun show. This game honestly doesn't look like anything much other than a generic platformer featuring the show's characters, though. Also: I thought SuperGiant (devs of Bastion) were making this game so I was incredibly excited for a second. Turns out, the studio behind this game is called SuperMassive. :<
  14. Haha, there was also a PC release of the game. That's where I first played it. I never was very good at it, but I did view the animated movies because they were .MOV files right in the CD directory... Man, a lot of what Epon said brings back memories. Dialup was such a joke.
  15. Looks beautiful, Techokami. Love the color scheme a lot. I'm eager to see more!
  16. Haha - I didn't expect to see you here so soon. (I'm TonOfBricks.) Weba! SAGE was actually recently, in September. So we're not completely dead. I guess everyone who's here will fill you in.
  17. Actually, no. Once you get all the Time Stones, the game defaults to destroying all of the machines. If you were trying for the achievement, you need to find each machine to destroy manually. If you still want to get the last Time Stone, you'll need to wait until Metallic Madness.
  18. Check my first post for the updated sheet. Enjoy!
  19. The bottom frames are the originals (for comparison).
  20. Nah, I didn't. But those filenames are classic.
  21. Console Version Rip (mistake in numbering near the end, 70 tracks) 3DS Version Rip (missing the boss themes: no way to get a clean rip of them for now)
  22. I really enjoy all your stuff. Your art style is nifty, and I'm glad to see that you're gravitating towards original stuff. It's solid work. I also rather enjoy how you depict breasts ! Music stuff is cool too. You've got a great skillset, keep at it.
  23. Ink's not a dude. Oldschoolers know that Happy belated!
  24. Thanks guys! I'm using a whole bunch of programs, pretty much the core standard for most motion designers: - Illustrator for most of the vector work and the typography. - Photoshop to retouch the vector stuff, to make style frames/storyboards, and other general stuff I can't do strictly in Illustrator. - Cinema 4D for 3D modeling. - After Effects is where I drop all this stuff in and turn it into a video. More involved than that of course - and Audacity! For miscellaneous sound audio editing. P.S. The audio isn't particularly great in the Sonic CD video but I needed to make the contest deadline. I was gonna work on it all last week, but I procrastinated...because I was playing Sonic Generations. Sonic procrastinated me from Sonic.
  25. Sounds neat! Though, to be honest, it doesn't particularly strike me as Genesis-y upon the first listen. Still some solid work though. Oh, and there's a couple of sour notes as well - might want to fix those. Have you tried listening to this (Green Hills Zone, Sonic 2 MS/GG) for reference? Keep it up! Would love to hear more.
