Aaron C-T
"You got a game because it has art featured by a pornographic artist?" Ehh.. too bad you should be the one being laughed at because he clearly said that was the reason he bought the strategy guide. And I think we all know that strategy guides are not videogames. Nice job there. "We're so fascinated with "old school" that companies can release old software again and again, even though we've already bought it, several times." See, I realized this years ago when people were complaining about Big the Cat, Adventure Fields, and minute things like "omb humans!" rather than taking the time to see that the gameplay was actually pretty decent. Whatever. The only compilation I've ever bought is Sonic Gems Collection and as we all know, that's an exception. It actually has games that hadn't been released before or that we'd actually been wanting. And it had a slew of GameGear Games I'd never actually played, as I only have like 4 games for my GG. "Tangent: the same game costs $8 to play on your cell phone :E" Playing a game like Sonic the Hedgehog on a cell phone is idiotic period. Afterall, most cellphone screens are horribly small. And then there's the whole 'why in the world do you need to be able to play a 15 year old game on your communications device?' bit.
MidimanNull
Nice job there. So my lack of factual statements in my posts has been increasing, ill try to retouch my posts from now on. The fact he still got a strategy guide because it had a certain artist is still foreign to me.
ila
Dude you guys are completly forgetting about the awesome Sonic the Hedgehog port on the Gameboy Advance! Pheonix Gamma
Scatta: because the alternative is the GBA Sonic remake XP I don't buy cellphone games though. I have a DS for portable games.
1LT Worm
The DS is too awkward. The GBA is where it's at. Except for Sonic.
Serephim
DS has a GBA in it.. So DS is where its at. And i heard the Sonic the Hedgehog GBA port took away the old game physics and gave it new ones.. Although, now that i think about it, the new ones arnt ALL that bad. If anyone has a DS with Sonic Rush, if you ever simply play a level while ignoring the Y button, it starts to really feel like an old title. (until you go into burst mode.) Its really fun, espically if you time attack yourself without dashing.

MaxSonic
Okay, I saw Wii component cables for sale at work today, and I was wonering if I should buy them. But then I thought to myself, "Wait, aren't those for an HD tv only?" Also, I can't find controllers or nunchucks for the life of me.
DimensionWarped
Some TVs that aren't HD do have component video functionality. Among them are EDTV and even some SDTVs. However, the main purpose of component video cables is HD, so you won't get that much of an improvement out of it. Though I do hear that 480p is significantly better than 480i. Aaron C-T
Midiman: He likes art by said artist. The artist's work was in said strategy guide. He bought guide. Why does it matter if it's something you would do or not? Serephim: Yea, I like Sonic Rush as well. Can't really say it's like an old title though. Ther are way too many random pits-of-death and gravity changes. MaxSonic: I use a component cable for my TV and it's not an HD. It looks great, but I wouldn't suggest buying it if you already have a cable that works. I'm guessing the cable's at least 20 bucks and I don't think the graphics improve that much. Basically, if you're expecting HD-rivaling graphics this is only the icing on the SD cake. In fact, I didn't even purchase mine. I'm just using the cable that came with my X360. shadowgoten
Component are better than S-Video cables and S-Video cables are better than composite. Remember that

Pheonix Gamma
So my dorm is locked until I go back to school, and I really wanna get my Wii online. Unfortunately, it can't pick up my neighbor's network (even though my laptop can >_<) and I heard somewhere that it was possible to hook this bad larry up via ethernet cable or something. Yay or nay? Pheonix Gamma
Koray knows a lot of stuff @_@ I'll have to go to circuit city or maybe staples or officemax to see if they have any. I generally prefer buying at a store in person than online ::shrug:: I heard about WiimediacenterX. Sounds really good. Dunno why you'd want to do all that on a Wii and not a computer, though.
