The light source was rarely constant, but you could tell where it was, and the outline was always a shade variant of the color it outlined. Apricity Posted August 24, 2012 Report Share Posted August 24, 2012 Yeah but there's no gradient or progression with the colour on that part of the head it goes from light straight to dark and looks messy and makes the sprite look inconsistent. You can see that on the left side of his head, it goes from the normal blue to the light, then when it gets to the top, it's the same thing. The rest of the sprite is fine that bit just irks me using a lighter shade would look better imo that's all I'm saying. I had the strange idea of making the colors change while you're in the stage, so that's why everything is a mix of red and purple (and yellow in the case of those gems in the walls).
