I agree with the others. This looks promising.

Still, Sonic turning white when he jumps does look a bit weird imo but thats a minor issue.

How much have you done so far?

Aaaaaaand.. Have a bug in Bridge: I cannot by 3, because if I by, it will not show if I with him for two, the problem is when moving, and If i put 1, he going normal

@Cleberson Nice Screenshot but many modern fangames containing boost don't last long....

HERP DERP MY OLD PROJECT. I spent enough time with it to make a beta with 3 confusing adventure fields, A handfull of missions, and 9 stages. (11.5 if you count the levels that were incomplete or unacceptable)

...SO HAH!

Now that I brought it up I should really go back and, and fix it so the last level is playable, along with the sonic 3 throwback levels I had started work on. :| I thought the project was quite fun. The boost was extremely superfluous though. XD

-EDIT: Holy shit I still have the install files and for said beta. and the .gmk's as well. 0_o

I remember playing a version that stopped after the space level. No idea where I had to go.

It was impressive and it was fun if you put aside the unfair deaths.

Very Unfair XD

The space level was the last accessible level, there was another complete level in the game and was supposed to be accessible, but unfortunately it's entrance was bugged. and you could only get in by using a cheat engine.

I played through a more recent build last night, I didn't die until the space zone, which I found quite funny, but then that last level, that was previously inaccessible...that level contains so much rape its not even funny. I game overed twice, then flipped a switch for infinite lives, and spent another ten minutes, till I beat it.

maybe if I worked on a sequel, with more level specific gimmicks, and actual enemy designs, and less boxy geometry it could really be something.

I'm still working with this right now:

Maybe I could combine some of the 3d 2.5d programing into this project, and improve it with stronger geometry and controls as well? God dammit guys a few comments and now I've got my juices flowing.

And yeah that "boost fangames dont last long" statement makes as much sense as those "Sonic Advance sprites aren't as good as genesis sprites" nonsense.

It's like saying platformers without a jump button can't be platformers or something.

looks great, but my only advice would be to please remove that pixel on her mouth that gives her a smile. It throws me off. Almost makes her look kind of creepy...

More Casino shit. I'm still debating on the name Stardust Stadium though. It took me all day trying to figure out good combinations for the buildings, and now I gotta do level tiles. X(

Ah, yeah, a classic combo. I used these buildings in tandem back in '06 and then I changed them out for something else. The SCD Special Stage buildings were just too detailed compared to the rest of it. But, if you change the colors of them, it might work better.

And speaking of buildings.

I doodled this and am willing to produce a level built just off of this building idea in which the level itself is already set in stone.

This is an example of something based on neon lights covering the tops of buildings as seen in downtown Cleveland and Akron.

It was a little rushed but who's judging.

The main idea is neon lights lying on the corners of the buildings.

Another idea is to make it a window paneled structure which will look quite nifty in a night time level.

Believe it or not, I did try to do something of a neon-ish Nakatomi building but it didn't turn out good.

Basically because there are no/no good side shots of the tower in the movie to get an idea of looks.

Thanks! I was gonna make them Chemical Plant buildings blue, but I thought they'd look to similar to the buildings used in your "Sonic Nexus In 2004" video.

Improved. I still need help with making it so that the colors match, but don't blend with the background.

You need to give the background some depth to make it look like it's not literately within prodding distance. Lower the contrast the farther back you go from the foreground.
