well im using a completely overhauled version of some engine i found on yoyogames i tried messing with the physics but everything flew of the handle and sonic shot up 2 his max speed in like five seconds ill probly use the genesis physics and mess with them till i get wanted results thx p.s thanks for the fast response(that was really fast like superhuman fast) -
I have searched everywhere but I Cant find anything about the physics in the advance games (max y speed,max x speed,acceleration,deceleration,etc) so i was wondering if anybody knew anything about the physics thank you in advance(no pun intended).

advance sprites and thank you every time I try a resolution it looks terrible I'll try and see what the outcome is.

Hey guys so I have been having trouble getting a good camera resolution for my game ya know a resolution that dosen't make the sprites look terrible but dosen't make sonic look tiny the sonic retro tutorials didn't help as the game is advance style and all the tutorials are based of the 4 Genesis games help would be greatly appreciated Thank you. P.S if it matters its game maker. P.P.S some physics help would be nice too.

According to trend micro 2012 SonMapEd 1.05 HAS A VIRUS although 1.03 is just fine (I would have posted this on the Retro forum but I'm banned) so yah if anyone on here's a hacker then delete 1.05 and get 1.03 NOW!!!!!

about parallax this is how its programmed in my game Sprite: <no sprite> Solid: false Visible: true Depth: 5555 Persistent: false Parent: objControl Mask: <same as sprite> Draw Event: Draw background at position (view_yview[0]/9.14159,view_yview[0]) draw background bg_buildings; tiled: true its a bit glitchy in my game though and the bg and the parallax have to be two different objects p.s objcontrol is a blank object that just keeps the parallax from going haywire p.s.s you might want to slow it down a bit -
the tiles are normal sized nothing was changed (except the wood zone tiles being skewed witch are a placeholder) so its the screen shots witch have been resized to keep the post size low what about the first zone anything wrong there

the game's not even a quarter done although i have added tails and knuckles and started work on the first two levels (as shown below) the first is indigo ocean zone (thinking about changing the name) and second is jungle jigsaw zone i know the graphics suck its not the finished product yet
