OverbounD
This may be a dumb question but what video capturing software are you guys all using to capture videos of your game? Is it free?
Streak Thunderstorm
google camstudio. It's free.
LarkSS
You might need to use VirtualDub for compressing too since though camstudio captures great, sometimes its video encoding doesn't play back in other players. Both programs are in fact free btw.
OverbounD
Alright thanks I know what VirtualDub is and I'll take a look for camstudio. Thanks Reps+
Toxic The Hedgehog
Hypercam 2 full. EDIT: Removed registration code because of post below :l
USC
I would suggest removing that before the mods notice, Toxic. SFGHQ has gotten in trouble a few times for warez, and I don't think they want to repeat the experience.

Slingerland
Yeah...you deleted that registration code. Good. Warez (and that includes registration codes) is i-l-l-e-g-a-l. Post under penalty of a permanent ban, so think harder next time.

OverbounD
Um yeah... does anyone know a program that will allow me to add some sound to the video I've created in .swf?
USC
http://home.flashdig.com/ That should do it. I've only ever used it to take sounds out, but it's suppose to let you put them back in too.
Asuma
Not to hi-jack, but is there a way to stop audio lag?
OverbounD
Someone may correct me on this but I believe the lag is from the program not running at full speed due to the heavy system use caused by using your game and the program at the same time. So the easy answer is get your system to run at full speed.
LarkSS
That's pretty much the answer I got; either that or getting your game to use less resources and uping the priority of the video capture by some.
OverbounD
Just turn off everything you can anti-virus look at the processes and see if you see any that are not needed at that moment turn them off. Also I would save your game as an exe that way you don't have an exe running on top of mmf or gm.

Also I would save your game as an exe that way you don't have an exe running on top of mmf or gm. I tried that in addition to making my game run at less fps/lowering the colors it uses and I still got around 5fps with lovely audio desync. Lol at my comp. =>
