It is for the game executable. The game executable needs one otherwise its a white boring block. Photoshop costs money and doesn't really make sense. I'll try the gimp but I don't think it'll work.

RAGH whenever I make a icon and save it as a .ico gamemaker always rejects it. Can somebody point me in a direction of a program better than paint or can someone show me a site with sonic .ico artwork? Thanks a bunch.

Okay. Noted. One Problem Though. I Don't Know How To Make It Smaller. Game Maker Uses Repeatitive Backrounds So... It's Either Billions Of The Same Image On Top Of Each Other ( The Beach And Below That Is Sky With Another Beach.. ) Or The Stretched One.

Good To See A Critiziser. I Am Changing Genesis Sprites To Be More Advance Styled. If You Are Talking About Sonic's Run That Won't Be Changed Untill A Later Demo If Too Many Complaints Flood In... Also The Backround Is Blurry To Make It Seem Like It's Hot Out.
