Slingerland
I remember the game's creator would show up here and just post photoshopped "ads" of small clips from his game combined with Sonic Heroes art. We lol'd.
xhedgehogx
I agree with UT04 being the better game to mod. It is possible they didn't switch because of this.
MaxSonic
Wow... that looks a lot cooler than the Sonic Online stuff.

Jsonic
4 Day bump... anyways, check this out Here Also newer youtube videos Here I'm finding this so funny right now, and I don't know why. Also, I didn't say "cancelled" for a reason. I originaly said "stopped" in this topic tittle.
DimensionWarped
... ... Ugh. Someone who "restarts" every time a little stress falls on him is destined never to get anywhere. This is just going to keep going backwards. Total waste of time.
Asuma
The Source Engine is great for modding. Dunno much for Halo.=E
DimensionWarped
Its total shit. The game was never meant to be modded.
BlazeHedgehog
Wow... that looks a lot cooler than the Sonic Online stuff. Sonic Online looked more like a real Sonic game, though. The UT2004 Sonic mod appears just to be a glorified skin/map pack. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you, as I am anticipating the UT2004 mod quite a bit, but still. Aaron C-T
"Sonic Online looked more like a real Sonic game, though." But what good is that if it's never going to be finished, anyway? I'd prefer a finished glorified skin/map pack with the potential to be fun to play than something that looks more like a "real" Sonic game that I'll never be able to play. Also, I don't think there's even a definition for a "real" Sonic game anymore.
Serephim
The UT2004 sonic mod is more of a sonic game than this ever was at the start. Check the new videos of it, it has corkscrews and everything.
DimensionWarped
Yes, because we all know that cork screws and loops = Sonic. Worked wonders for Heroes, Shadow, and Next, didn't it.

They've done quite a bit of custom scripting too. :\ But I guess I've never played UT2k4 to know. Their talents would put to so much better use if they made their own game :\. Not everything is suited to ended up with as spectacular results as SRB2 had... and without the source code for the game they are working with they are really limited. DimensionWarped
Programmers for making a 3D game from scratch are far and few between.
