Duckboy Posted August 19, 2006 Report Share Posted August 19, 2006 It's nowhere in any way like Napolean Dynamite. At all. Snakes on a Plane was an absolute blast. On its own, it's a really good action movie, that actually DOESN'T suck, and it delivers what it promises. Snakes... on a plane. But to get the FULL experience of this movie, you HAVE to see it probably this opening weekend, at night, with a HUGE ass crowd. There's cheering and gasping and hissing and... jesus, the crowd makes the movie SO. MUCH. FUN. This was more than a movie. it was an EVENT. Okay, SPOILER TIME. Some things that are just plain awesome: - Snake biting a chick's boob - Snake biting a dude's dick (This got one of the biggest audiance reactions of the night) - Snake biting a chick's eye - Kenan having flight experience because of his video game - The dog getting eaten by a snake - A guy getting squeezed to death and then eaten by the humongus monster snake - Lots of swearing - Lots of ridiculous over the top violence - BOOBS - The scene with the plane landing, and the giant hole in the side, and the snakes and everything else being sucked out, and especially the giant snake that still had the guy inside it. - Samuel L. Jackson saying or doing ANYTHING - The twist at the end with the gay flight attendent - The giant anaconda EATING A GUY - Snakes - On a plane And when Sam Jackson uses the "Motherf**kin snakes on this motherf**kin plane" line, the audiance ERUPTED. It was amazing. And what's really awesome about this movie, is that it's played completely straight. Aside from some of the ridiculous snake attacks and such that ARE intentionally made to be funny, it's all done very serious. It really IS a good action movie on its own right. Oh yeah. If you've ever sat down with a bunch of friends to watch a sport and some brutal tackle happens, you all just kinda go "OOOH ____" or something like that. This ISN'T any other kind of movie, so going on the grounds of the audiance being loud shouldn't even come into play.
