Delta Hedgehog
Both me and SuperBliz have tested the engine on various computers. The framrate is still awful. On all 3 of my computers, the framerate never goes above 4 FPS.

Delta Hedgehog
Yeah. The framerate is awful and the music is always skipping around.
Cleberson
@Blazefirelp: I know, but how to create?: I dont know 0D (Yes. Cyclop face) @SaitoSan: I really know, but, my game have a look of 'A Classic' and a new look of 'A awesome modern Sonic'. Thanks xD Yes, my fan game current progress is: 37-38% (ENGINE PROGRESS :|)
Chaos-Fusion
Yeah. The framerate is awful and the music is always skipping around. Is this with Gamemaker Deactivating on or Damizean's GSI dll? Deactivating objects speeds my game up alot.
Delta Hedgehog
It could be the GSI. Anyway, here's a quick mockup of Derelict Desert's graphics. No background yet. Open to suggestions.
VectorSatyr
Some versions of DASH are really bloated and hard to run on low-end computers. If this one doesn't show improvements for you, though, you've got problems. =(
JetHawk95
Yeah I'm terrible at artwork.. You get the idea though.. Full version
BlazefireLP
@Cleberson Nice Screenshot but many modern fangames containing boost don't last long.... but i wish you good luck.@Delta Hedgehog I'm not sure switching to MMF2 is a good idea right now unless you're at least formal with it or you will just end up in the situation of quitting this program and going to this one and quitting that one and so forth. I have progressed on the sonic advance full engine using blazefirelp's originated one. A game like SonicAdvance4 should have edited graphics in it. The title for this is a huge task that comes with it. When you say Advance4, I imagine a step up again from SonicAdvance3. Delta: What's with the varying contrast everywhere? NOTHING matches.
Delta Hedgehog
@BlazefireLP Keep in mind that I'm an MS Paint designer, and I'm not completely familiar with contrast and such. I created a much better background than I originally planned.
SaitoSan
@BlazefireLP You're absolutely correct it should be an up step of advance 3 but this is just an engine that i'm making similar to advance 2 to make a sonic advance level collab, or engine for anyone to use. I will change that now along with the pole problem. Thanks for telling me whats wrong i appreciate it since no one really cares about fan games containing the advance sprites i see. Just like I said to TailsSena, If it's going to be a collab the title is missleading.

Blue Emerald
Well, I've finally decided to work on some original level art for my Sonic game today, and I've had the hardest time trying to make checkered platform tiles that look like surreal, geometric tree bark. Tell me which one you think looks better: If you have any better ideas for something that looks like surreal, geometric tree bark that would work for a Green Hill-esque zone, go ahead and show it off. Delta Hedgehog
Your not dead! Huzzah! Anyway, the tiles look good so far. BTW, is for Sonic: The Fate Of The Master Emerald, or another game. BTW, new Cryostone Cliffs Mockup, with slopes! Now I have completed the graphics for the first three zones. 3/8 done! Blue Emerald
Delta: It is for Fate of the Master Emerald (though I think I'm gonna change the name to something less fangame-y). And thanks for the compliment; however, I'm only planning on using one of those three patterns (or something better, if anyone has any ideas). BlazefireLP
Kinda rushed it a bit since I'm a bit short on time but you get the general idea for what I am suggesting maybe. Incase it wasn't obvious alrready, I do like the second one though, it's a different yet nostalgic take on GHZ for me. Nice to see you here again Blue-Emerald. Blue Emerald
Thanks, Blazefire! Now that I see it all tiled together in one big wall like that, it looks pretty good. I don't think I'll be using those yellow diamonds with the brown ones, as it doesn't make it look much like tree bark, but I'll definitely try out that yellow palette for something else I'm planning; it's a nice, bright set of colors. I'll definitely try to throw something else in there to shake up that pattern -- maybe brighter/darker walls in the middle for added dimension, or I could even throw some plants or leaves in there to make it look more lively. Thank you for the feedback, it helped to give me some good ideas!
