Slingerland
Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the DS! http://www.gametrailers.com/player/47155.html Mechanical engineering has finally come to Zelda. I love me that "Westernized" Zelda theme. What do you guys think?
DimensionWarped
:3 Holy crap, they actually took something from that whole future Zelda concept afterall.
Pheonix Gamma
Phantom Hourglass had some rather crap controls and uninspired dungeons, so I'm definitely passing on this. The western theme reminds me of Back to the Future III. I hate that movie.
DimensionWarped
Yeah, the West sucks. I hate Phantom Hour Glass (Speaking of which, they might as well have called it Legend of Zelda: Who gives a shit what random piece of crap we are questing for this time?), but hey, maybe something for Wii is going on too. [Sly]
Oh god... Not another WW sequel for the DS... OoT didn't even have more then one sequel and MM was hardly a sequel.
Pheonix Gamma
Hey guy. Majora's Mask was amazing. And one of the few direct sequels in the franchise. So...quiet, you >((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

DimensionWarped
Get out. Now. Everyone knows BttFIII is the worst in the franchise. At least, everyone who is me.
Cyber Rat
Everyone knows BttFIII is the worst in the franchise. At least, everyone who is me. Yes, it is the worst. But some things are sacred. It's like if somebody posted a hate thread about Captain Planet. We all know he sucked, but do you not insult Captain Planet? I don't think so. OT: I wonder whether they'll just add the train, or go all the way and make a steampunk Wild Wild West setting?
shadowgoten
Phantom hourglass bored me to tears, and I'm starting to get tired of the cell link design they've been shoving down our throats now, I'd like classic zelda plx, no more toony link more adult link/sprited link! Pheonix Gamma
To be fair, he does kinda remind me of the NES Link. Not that it really matters. We all know who the best Link is.
Ligar
I want more games like Oracle of Seasons/Ages. Those in my opinion are Gems to the franchise and I love them.

ila
I want more games like Oracle of Seasons/Ages. Those in my opinion are Gems to the franchise and I love them. Truth. Those two games, along with Link's Awakening DX for some reason, were the only Zelda games I ever cared to finish to completion. I'd just like a standard Zelda game without all the system specific gimmicks, and an excuse for replayability. Funny enough, the Oracle games were actually developed by Capcom. I guess someone other than Nintendo can do a better job at Zelda games.
Spike
The train segments in this game look boring as hell. As for the rest, it looks cool if you can actually walk without using the touch pad this time.
ila
I know you hate it when we preemptively dislike stuff Spike... but its a Nintendo developed DS game. Of course stylus control is going to be mandatory.

I wasn't going to mention them because we'd get sidetracked by arguing semantics, but you implied that you never beat a Link to the Past, so now I'm gonna be a jerk

DimensionWarped
I just hope this means a bitchin' Steampunk Zelda game for Wii is on the way... hopefully one that actually looks steampunk rather than just has a train apparently juxtaposed onto the landscape. Pheonix Gamma
As opposed to a train hovering over the landscape? :V The train looks like a boat, but minus the leisure of sailing in a dong-shaped path. Unless you magically draw the tracks. Then it's the exact same thing. Either way, Hourglass' sailing made me miss Wind Waker.
[Sly]
Maybe this one will have sailing too. Nintendo is known for not showing important features first thing. (Like most gaming companies)
1LT Worm
Back to the Future II is actually the worst of the series. Sorry guys. Anyway, so I want to see a trailer for a Wii Zelda game. (Twilight Princess is a GCN game, so it doesn't count) This kind of just looks lame.
DimensionWarped
;108805']Maybe this one will have sailing too.Nintendo is known for not showing important features first thing. (Like most gaming companies) The first thing they showed of Galaxy (at least while it was named Galaxy) was the whole planet rotation thing. I'd consider that the game's single most unique trait, so it seems to me that they do talk about the important features. Honestly, I'd say sailing is a pretty unimportant feature and its more of just a way of chipping away at your time, but ehh.
