Cyber Rat
Casino Bay looks much better now.
Felik
Personally I think that color of the sky and stars don't go well with each other. It looks like sunset... with stars in the sky. You'd better darken the sky or remove stars.
Cyber Rat
It looks like sunset... with stars in the sky. You'd better darken the sky or remove stars. Umm... you do know that that kind of natural occurrence is possible? Especially in a game where you're a blue hedgehog. EDIT: I think we all failed to realize that the sky isn't dark because of the brightness of the city light. Just a hunch.
Felik
Yeah... but still it looks odd. P.S. When I saw this in reality, sky was still darker.
Zenor
I really like how it looks right now. But maybe you could give a bit of blue tint to the sky and water (giving them a slightly purple-ish tone)? Just a suggestion anyway. @Felik: What Cyber Rat meant is: Sonic is a blue hedgehog, so is there a reason that the sky can't have that kind of colors? Aaron C-T
I, for one, love the way it looks. The brown shades are a really nice change. If you changed the color of the sky it'd give off a different mood. It almost seems like.. what's it called.. the "atmospheric" city lights or whatever. I dig. LarkSS
@Azu: I think that may have been done on purpose so that the grass doesn't look as extremely repetitive. I absolutely love the new look of the background. It looks Sonic Advancey and full of money-spending energy at the same time; the depth feels excellent too. The city in the background brings a bit of hustle and bustle to the level, which I think matches a Casino level kinda well, only accented that it's at a bay since the buildings are in the distance rather than up close. Nice stuff.
Blue Emerald
Personally, I like the objects in the foreground, especially that diamond-pattern wall behind Sonic. I'm glad you changed the tiles for this level; it gives it much more life than that pale beige it had before. Also, I agree with Zenor. Even though a chocolate-colored sky is very original, I think you should just experiment with Zenor's idea, and if you don't think it looks good, then keep what you have now, because there's nothing wrong with straying too far off the beaten path. Zenor
Also, a thing I just noticed. It's called Casino Bay, but I see no casino elements.. whilst the old design had them. It right now looks more like a park rather than a casino, but I don't know if that was intentional ( as you are putting together a casino and a bay). And I hope you don't ditch the old design's foreground tiles, because they looked good.
GSF
It's a pretty nice combination, but as Zenor says, there isn't much 'Casino' content anymore. Still, I love it, it remembers me of Streets of Rage 2's third level, the amusement park... for some reason. And the diamond wall sorta looks like Pulseman... possibly the platform game with the wonkiest but coolest backgrounds. Good work with the blend of these styles, keep going! Rael0505
Nitemare, I love the new mood of this level. While it's much different from the typical casino level, its uniqueness opens up so many possibilities to create something really original. Definitely keep what you made. The foreground casino tiles should definitely stay (it isn't called Casino Bay for nothing); they just need to be recolored to match the new tiles. So, the likely route for the old tiles to take would be from the beige-and-pink palette to brown-and-green-and-blue. I can just picture shellfish Badniks being used for this zone. Speaking of which, if you ever want me to try and make some Badniks for this zone, Nitemare, you can always ask. I'm pretty good at making new Badniks, though I haven't tried spriting in the Advance style, yet.
Nitemare
Glad the new design is preferred, have been experimenting with the background colours: I think I actually like the first the most, any thoughts?

Felik
The third one. Background and foreground contrast enough and bg looks more natural.
Zenor
I'll probably be the only one but, the second. Just because it's in the middle, it's not too purple, but it's not too brown.

sonicyoda
Absolutely adore the graphical style. Always nicer to see a fangame that uses original graphics. It would be nice to see what it looks like with an original sprite for Sonic aswell but that's just me being picky. If I'm not mistaken, is this the same Sonic 360 that used to be a part of TK Games? The one with the tiny, little window and the demo which had a stage very similar to Hydrocity from Sonic 3? If it is, I always loved that little demo. Still got it on the laptop. If the engine is still similar to that, please make Sonic jump a little higher aswell. Thanks
