Sonicsuperstar1
What exactly do you mean by working together? By the way, the site for this is http://www.freewebs.com/shadow-advance, there's a demo there! it's pretty crappy, glitches and all!
Tapika
I mean we make stuff, like I have the GM6 aswell and we can make our little updates together! I'm great at programming, so I might make this game a winnah!

Sonicsuperstar1
Do you need the Game itself, than can be edited, or do you need your GM6?
Tapika
The game that can be edited is called a GM6 file. ; Don't post it here, give it to me through PM!
Sonicsuperstar1
Yeah, I wasn't gonna post it here! Otherwise, anyone can edit it!
Tapika
Uh-huh! ...This topic is a bit useless now.
Sonicsuperstar1
Yeah...kinda! But I'm still keeping all the people who helped me in the credits! Below is a double post that has been automagically merged into the original. Does anybody know how to make another character follow you? Like how Tails follows Sonic in some games! Also, does anybody know how to make them do the exact same actions as you like with Sonic and Tails?
Damizean
Pack of stuff. There is a keydata follow example there, wich is the method used in the Sonic games (create an array with all the keydata the player pressed and then, use a delayed one for Tails). That way you can make your actions in the same ways for the two players, only having to use a different keydata.
Sonicsuperstar1
It says I do not have permission to open this file! How do I get permission?
Tapika
It's a RAR file. Search google for WINRAR and download it to open the file.
Sonicsuperstar1
Ok, guess I could try that! Below is a double post that has been automagically merged into the original. I have to pay for it!!!
Tapika
No you dont. You only have to pay for the full version. Even tho it says it lasts only 30 days I uncovered a glitch in it that means it will still work, it just pops up with an annyoying message! Sonicsuperstar1
Anybody know how to make Online Games on GM6. I've got a Tutorial...but it doesn't do anything to help me really.
Zal
My winrar constantly says that I need to buy it or it will stop working, which just goes to show how incompetent it is considering it's been working like that for 3 years now. Idiot program.
flash
To open the GM file, right click on the .RAR file and click "extract here", you should be able to open the resulting file in GM. SthA Maker, if you want help with multi-directional aiming for the guns (shadow always aims at the mouse), just ask. And finally, what do you guys think the help forum is for, making toast? if you're going to tell everyone who posts to go look in the tutorials section, there isn't really much point in a help forum -___-; (yes, i have taken into account that there ARE tutoeials for homing and lightdash, etc., but some of them can be horrendously hard to understand for unexperienced coders) -Flash
