  1. Really nice, the way you make it look so realistic, brilliant, and the way you did the "Beyond" text makes it look somewhat like an advert for a game Great work =)

Decided to edit NO Body(from MFGG)'s soldier dummy sprites into Spike, from Ape Escape Feel free to use them, but be sure to give credit where it's due Dunno why i bothered eiting the gun sprites, maybe it could be a new gadget, or something >__> Will probably add gadget sprites sometime in the not-so-near future

UPDATE: New Demo released, i added a Registration/Login system, PLEASE don't spam up the server, and if you lose your pass, i can get it back for you, but i would prefer not to, as it takes up valuable time I could be spending making this better. I made a fix for the in-built platform movement once, but i daren't release it as i don't really want to be the one blamed for a huge swarm of lazy-ass-cookie-cutter noob games invade the forum, if you want it, PM me or catch me on AIM and we can discuss it, it fixes EVERYTHING in the inbuilt movement, Stopping when you land, stopping when you hit a ceiling, flying off slopes, animation glitches on slopes, everything.
  8. Overall, i reccommend Moogame if you can find a way to acquire it ;D If not, MooClick, unless you're really hardcore and want to use MooSock, which is faster, yes, but stupidly hard and complicated.

  10. In the next demo, i've added space bar jumping, only displaying the fusion bar when you're sonic and have the CFusion equipped, and i've taken out the debug code -Flash
  11. By thin, how do you mean? See, your sprite is just the pulseman sprite with advance shading, i made mine so it's the same size as the SA sprites (sonic, specifically), so i kinda need to know what to do >__>; -Flash

  14. The shoe looks great, IMO, but the hat seems a little too big, maybe you should make a sample frame or something, just to show that it looks good on the sprite -Flash
  15. To open the GM file, right click on the .RAR file and click "extract here", you should be able to open the resulting file in GM. SthA Maker, if you want help with multi-directional aiming for the guns (shadow always aims at the mouse), just ask. And finally, what do you guys think the help forum is for, making toast? if you're going to tell everyone who posts to go look in the tutorials section, there isn't really much point in a help forum -___-; (yes, i have taken into account that there ARE tutoeials for homing and lightdash, etc., but some of them can be horrendously hard to understand for unexperienced coders) -Flash

Looks really nice, the sonic sprite could be a bit more blue, it looks kinda washed out right now, and the blue platform should have some kind of top on it, like grass, or dark blue rock, or whatever, it adds detail and makes it more visually pleasing, but otherwise, great. The idea of levels changing based on your actions is great, but you need to be careful, make the actions you perform unique to each level, instead of overusing boring "Pick your path" sections, try adding in a level change based off whether you activated a certain switch, then it changes the outcome of the level, like blowing up a factory resulting in an underground level instead of another factory stage. Really hope to see this develop into a fully fledged fangame, it has great potential -Flash

That's do-able in the actual game (i did it with the lvel select after playing on my tails-only file, i think), but the graphics glitch up and you can still spindash o_O Anyway, the hoax is nice, but you shouldn't mix and match graphics resolutions and you shouldn't animate single objects, it's a case of "All or Nothing", really. Like i said about the resolutions, The MECannon and the rest of the screen don't match, see, but otherwise, it's great =) -Flash

  20. Thanks, i'm thinking of attempting a VectorMan advance as well, if i have the time. Incidentally, i seem to have a slight talent for advance-ifying sprites, so just call me up on AIM or ask on here if you want any help with ristar -Flash

  24. It's set in an old abandoned facility that was abandoned 24 years ago after (at the risk of sounding cliched) one of the experiments went wrong, and summoned a creature not of this world. Tails picks up incredibly high energy readings from the island that the facility is on, and sends sonic and shadow to investigate, hoping to recover some incredibly powerful prototype energy source. On the island, they meet Flash, a mysterious hedgehog who attacks them at first, but later relents and decides that an alliance would be better for both sides. It later conspires that the creature summoned from the portal was flash himself, but in a different state of mind (his evil alter ego, Nightmare, a creature hell-bent on the destruction of every innocent being alive), flash is docile now, beacuse he has learned to control his alter-ego, and has sealed him in his subconcious mind, flash has also taken part of the good side of his soul and sealed it inside his sword, "Faith", so there will always be part of his good self away from the clutches of nightmare, in case he should somehow gather enough power to break free and completely take over flash's concious. Nightmare can only break free in times of intense stress, he takes over flash's body for the final battle, and you can seperate the two by using solar energy for one of the good endings (lunar power is flash's weakness, solar power is nightmare's), or not seperate them for the bad endings.
