  1. Well, Yoshi's Island Advance style would be more original, but Sonic Advance style would go better with the characters. And great storylines btw! Also: Don't know if I'll finish these or not so I'll post them anyway.
  2. Thanks for the comments! This is the only place I've ever posted these sprites so maybe it's another sheet that looks like mine? Also, I've seen Danny's(if you mean Daniel Sidney) sprites before, and I see many differences between ours. EDIT: I'm surprised no one has replied to this topic yet. I'll hopefully have an update soon. I also edited my post, so just ignore anything you could have seen earlier, and I checked at Sonic Planet and the only Shadow sprites I saw were Daniel Sidney's sprites and a preview of another sheet.
  3. Yes, I've seen Shadow Advance sheets around the net but I've noticed the same thing with most of them, most of them are incomplete or not enough frames to use in a game or whatever. Then if you start mixing sprites it just looks ugly. So I'm making my own with enough frames and stuff for anyone to use. I'll also add all of Sonic's running frames from Sonic Advance 2(walking, jogging, etc). You also just gave me an idea for his running format, so thanks for that. Thanks!
  4. I'll be using these sprites for my game but i'd also like to release them in a spritesheet here as well. But please keep in mind that this sheet is still a work in progress and I'll be adding many more animations to this sheet. I'll also add an actual idle animation as well to the sheet as my game uses different Standing sprites. Some other things may change as well such as his running(skating) animation.
  5. Why not just Sonic Freedom RPG? Who cares if someone else stole your name. It sounds to me that their game follows the same storyline as Sonic the Movie and it's a platform game. So if you specify in your title that this is a RPG then no one will get confused. But I can still see why you would'nt want to use the name now though.
  6. Yay for demo! I also started on Shadow's battle sprites. I'm also making sure to perfectly(well, almost perfectly) align the sprites in the template. I'll post the sheet when I have enough animations put in.
  7. Looks great Tapika! My only complaint is that his spikes aren't sticking up in all of the frames. But other than that awesome!
  8. I officially proclaim Shadow as.....FINISHED!!! Now there's the matter of the battle sprites. I've considered trying to do Shadow's battle sprites but I have a question first. Could I just take the sprites from the Sonic Battle sheet and put them in the template? Or do you need to make custom poses as well?
  9. Wow, that mighty sheet kicks so much ass O.O. That also reminds me to get started on Shadow jumping sprites.
  10. I found the entire installer for RPG Maker XP on download.com. Fortunatly you won't have to install the whole thing. After you download the installer(29.5Mbs O.O) you will have the option to install the RPSS thing only or the whole thing. The installer can be found on this page: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-2001&qt=rpg%20maker%20xp&tag=srch Maybe I should remove the link to the dll from my last post since some sites say that the dll file usually only comes with the legal purchased version of RPG Maker XP. Plus it isn't helping at all with running this game by itself.
  11. I had the same problem too, but I searched for the missing file on google, and I installed a pack called RGSS-Standard. I have absolutely no idea what the pack is, but the game works now. Before coming here again I found the dll file by itself which can be found here: Removed. Reason why is in my next post, it also didn't help anyway. I'm guessing you can put that in the same folder the game is at, or if that doesn't work then copy it to your system32 folder. Edit: I might as well upload this too. What I noticed while playing the test was that the order of the frames while walking is in the same order as they are on the sheet(i.e. the order of the walking anim is standing frame, to right foot out, to left foot out, to middle of walking anim then back to standing frame). Is this going to be fixed or do we need to edit the order of the frames on the sheets? Otherwise everything looks great and I can't wait for more.
  12. Glad you like it. ^.^ Should I change the frames on the sheet to this? The walking sprites in Sonic Advance 2 are like that where one foot is flat on the ground and one is at a 45 degree angle, so that's what I copied from for the other directions. As you can see with the image posted here it looks fine, and I might add the changes here to the Sonic sheet. Edit: But that would also mean I'd have to edit Shadow too.
  13. Ok I fixed Sonic and Shadow. I also evened out Shadow's spikes a bit in the front and back.
  14. Awesome! I'll see what I can do with the top sprites some other time, but first I want to finish Shadow(I've been putting off finishing the sheet due to laziness and Fullmetal Alchemist, gotta love that series!) EDIT: Finally I'm with finished Shadow!! I also did some minor edits to the front Sonic sprites and I think they look a bit better. The problem is with the spines, as the face looks fine.
  15. I decided to register here so expect all updates on Shadow on here(as I'm the one doing him.) The sheet is almost done I just need to make one more sprite. I also tried to do some work on Sonic a bit. I combined your first sheet and some of my own edits.
